I am working on a film for my Kickstarter project (due to launch next week), and part of the initial film concept involves super talented peeps from around the world, contributing to a piece of music... and everyone's contributions have started rolling in. I screamed and danced around the room when the first couple arrived in my inbox today, including one from my FAVOURITE secret genius, as well an epic arrangement from the insanely talented Jamie Burne (Bastions, Sleep Beggar). Excited is an understatement. I can't wait to start mixing this weekend, and get you all involved next week. Stoked to be working with Rachel Ashmary on styling, and have so much love for my amazing friends who are already cracking on with brand, logo and website design (not to mention treating me to Little bird organics for breakfast!). I feel truly humbled to have such beautiful, clever, generous people in my life... (On that note, anyone free on Monday / Tuesday who wants to be involved in the shoot or project, please let me know - especially if any of your own creative endeavours could get a bit of exposure from the concept too!
