Haymitch drinking the milk is so fucking funny from the readers perspective because, while it was totally an act of rebellion for him that is absolutely intended to deprive Snow of something in hopes of even killing him, we know that Snow is absolutely fucking fine and that there is zero risk here. It’s hard to see the risk Haymitch takes here when, with what we already know from the original trilogy, it seems like he’s drinking a man’s milk just to be a bitch and that’s genuinely the funniest fucking thing to me
