Anon I am SO still in the cabin. I think about them all of the time, and I am so excited to read your fics. I love cabin core's enormous bed, and I bet, if the cabin were in a real woods in not-a-death-game, they'd have a fire pit right outside their house that they sit around for dinner sometimes. I love dogs, but they are such a cat family. Their cabin is full of cat toys and cat trees. Bdubs always wakes up first, and Scott always wakes up last. Everyone keeps the curtains closed for him. They drink wine and dance to records. They take turns picking movies to watch together on Sundays, and they have arts and crafts at-home dates. Their cabin has a big room with good ventilation specifically for their art.

They all have different ways of getting bugs and spiders out of the house. Etho goes straight for the kill, Scott takes them outside, Bdubs screams and gets someone else to deal with it, and Scar full on wouldn't notice if there was a fourth cat, let alone a spider in a dark corner.

When Scott makes MCC teams, the other three crowd around him and point and comment on the roster and place bets. They have a bunch of knitted blankets, all of which are red, because Etho keeps getting redstone all over them, much to Scott's displeasure. Between Bdubs and Scar being American, Etho being Canadian, and Scott being British, the mix of lingo makes communication absolutely atrocious. This is the type of relationship where everyone converges on one person's life style, and it's Scott's. He has them going to drag brunch by week 3. No server at any restaurant has ever given Scott the bill, but the others always reach for it anyway. They must be gentlemen, of course. They also like to shower Scott in compliments every time he dresses up for a new SMP. Scar was the only one of them to see Scott with hair that wasn't blue before they started dating, so Blond Bannerfall Smajor made Etho and Bdubs freak out.

I cannot imagine what the transportation system is like. Do they have 4 cars? Did they make a garage big enough for 4 cars? Does Scar have a jet, because he's HotGuy? I think Etho and Bdubs share a truck, and Scar and Scott share a family car. It's mostly Scar's car, though, because Scott bikes for everyone else's convenience. The fridge situation is insane. They have to cook for four grown adults. I've lived in a dorm with four other people and four mini-fridges, and we didn't cook, and the fridge situation was insane. Every now and then, Bdubs and Scott occasionally find Etho and Scar eating amalgamations of scraps in the fridge, and Scott is very gentle about making them something better. Bdubs sighs and nags them, while he puts together something better. They each have their own dedicated file cabinets, because, otherwise, their blueprints get mixed up. Granted, their styles are all entirely different, but I can only imagine them grabbing any sheet in front of them in a rush.

Scott is very quick to get overstimulated, and I genuinely think that these three men are some of the least likely people to overstimulate him. You could make the argument that Scar rants a lot, but Scott has said that he likes listening to Scar talk about Star Wars. Meanwhile, Etho and Bdubs know when and how to be calm and quiet. They sit on the couch with him and decompress.

I bet Etho calls Scott "my dear" or "darling" the way a large, stoic man in a live-action TV show refers to his small, sweet wife, only barely pronouncing the "g". He calls Scar "babe", and he just calls Bdubs by his name. When he's calm, Bdubs calls Scar by his name, otherwise, he very loudly and exaggeratedly calls Scar "my love" or "pretty boy", usually when he's mad at him. He calls Etho "Etho", but sometimes "darling" feels right. On the other hand, Bdubs calls Scott "sweetheart" and "gorgeous" and "my sweet prince". Scar calls Etho "babe" right back, and he calls Bdubs "babe" or, if he's trying to get Bdubs to not be mad at him anymore, "baby". He calls Scott "my dear" and "pretty thing". Scott calls his boys "honey", "handsome", and "sweetie", but he specifically calls Etho "my sweet love" and "lovely", intentionally putting emphasis on Etho's gentle side. He calls Bdubs "dear" and Scar "sweetheart" and "my joy".
