Elesa huffed, before letting out a sneeze. "Why did we decide doing this was a good idea?" Elesa asked, her teeth chattering as she rubbed her arms. She may have had warm clothes on, but the harsh winter snow along route 7 had her in chills. Skyla laughed. "You were the one that suggested hunting down a Cubchoo. You know they only appear here in winter!" She said, sending a teasing smile to Elesa. Skyla was much better off, having used to varying temperatures with her job. Despite that, with a cold burst of air, she couldn't help but shiver. This year was exceptionally cold. "Ugh. They better appreciate us going out and doing this. I'm going to be tired for the next week! Not to mention, I feel like I'm catching a cold..." Elesa ranted. Despite loving the winter fashion trends, she was not a fan of the cold. Skyla shook her head, though smiled fondly. "Come on! The faster we find a Cubchoo, the faster we-woah!" Skyla began, only to stammer as she nearly lost her footing. The ice had been slick, and they were both on an incline. "Skyla, be careful! The ice-" Elesa tried to warn, only to slip herself. With a scream, she tumbled forward. “Elesa!” Skyla called out, but it was too late. Elesa rolled down the hill, desperately trying to catch herself, before finally tumbling face first into a snowdrift. Skyla carefully maneuvered her way over, concern clear in her voice. “Elesa! Elesa! Are you alright?!” She asked, unsure how to help the other woman. Elesa was nearly hip deep in the snow, her arms and head trapped within the snow drift. “J’st p’chy...” Skyla heard her girlfriend grumble. Elesa struggled in the snow, her legs kicking as she attempted to free herself. Skyla attempted not to laugh. Seeing Elesa wiggle around with her butt in the air like that was almost cute. “Elesa, do you need any help?” She asked, and heard a muffled ‘please’ in response. “Okay! Lemme just-“ she began, only for a bunch of snow to fall on her head. “What the...?” She looked up, confused. In a tree above them, was a very small Zangoose, potentially a baby. Before she could pull out her one pokemon for a battle, the Zangoose lept down towards her. Skyla let out a small shriek as the Zangoose left on her head. Using her body for momentum, it leaped behind her and ran off. Caught off balance, Skyla let out another yell, before slipping once more. “Nonononono!” She cried out, before tumbling further down the incline. With a shriek, she fell backwards into another drift ahead in the road. She struggled a moment, legs kicking back and forth, before stopping. She was definitely stuck. “So much for finding a Cubchoo today...” she mumbled, before letting out a sneeze. She hoped you wouldn’t mind a rain check on getting that pokemon...
