his first impression of you was that of a bold, arrogant, good-for-nothing bastard. he's shocked to find an obnoxiously prideful survivor who appears anything but broken about being forsaken whatsoever…

he found you annoying. irritating. he perceived you as a huge obstacle should you be in a round with him, one that even rivals chance of all people. "tch…", he'd hiss, as your boisterous words echoed in the chambers of his mind

he doesn't like you. he doesn't want to like you. and yet, he can't help but think of you when he isn't out there spreading bloodshed with his goons. why?

eventually, he starts to agree with you. he finds your constant heaps of praise towards yourself to be highly deserved. it's almost as if you persuaded him to admire you. but he didn't want to believe he has taken a liking to you, oh no - he'd never. he most certainly would not

…and then he jinxes himself. cue the goons making fun of him for it (and him getting mad at them)

whenever you were in a round, he'd almost always leave you last just so he could rub salt in your wound and make sure your ego gets crushed (though, it would usually result in the other way around). however, that reason would later change to something akin to "friendly rivalry showdowns" between you and him

his blood boiled when any of his attacks miss you. now, he feels delighted when you make a move that actually catches him off-guard

he'd pray that one of the boys would break your ankles and deliver you to him. now, he only wants to catch you himself

he'd cross his fingers hoping you wouldn't appear next round. now, he wants to make sure you were there

you were his rival, one that gained great respect for you. you must feel the same, right?

chance's amazed by how daring you are. granted, he's kinda daring himself, but you take it up by a notch. every time you praise yourself, or say something theatrical, he's always like "heck yeah!"

he often makes bets with you, knowing you can match his stride. not just off-rounds neither, they propose bets that you must do during a round, sometimes going far to even betting you as the two of you are running for dear life from the killer

one funny thing that happened between you two is when you asked chance if you can try coin flipping, and he happily obliges by letting you borrow their coin for awhile. most of your flips landed on heads. they were internally Seething

though, for how much they commend you, in the back of their mind, he can't help but feel a sense of familiarity when you're with him

sometimes, when they look at you, their mind flashes an entirely different person. someone with an ice crown, maybe an obscured face, too… and a demeanor that's-

no. he knows you're the real deal. not anyone icy cold and artificial. like him.

one time, when no rounds were being held, you caught them looking at you, and you'd ask chance if there was anything wrong. this causes to snap out of it and tell you it's nothing. he just thinks you look… cooler than usual, is all (smooth, chancey. smooth.)

pressing them further just makes them tell you that they don't wanna talk about it, which you of course respect. you assure him that you, the overlord, will hear him out on anything he has to say, which makes him giggle

though those old memories ring in his mind sometimes, he knows it all turned out to be for naught for him in the end, because they were used as a pawn - a means to an end. and that could easily apply to you, too

but until they feel like they can't keep it a secret no longer, he'll assume the feeling is mutual. the feeling that you two belong to each other

he wishes to invite you to his casino someday, even if that seems to be nothing but a pipe dream

you were a beaming light of confidence, whereas noob often hid in their shell. opposites attract indeed

initially, they found you to be a bit too much. you were just… loud… and overwhelming to be around… they could never have that level of confidence

as you spend more time together however, even toning down your dramatics just for them, they ended up liking you a little more

during rounds, you were often their bodyguard, shielding them from any hits they could take. while they're grateful for your kindness, they kind of wish you'd protect the others as often you protected them

in return, they shield you themself whenever possible, entreating you to make your escape

gets flustered if you hype them up. the theatrical boom in your voice exclaiming that they too are a reigning supreme, even they don't believe so, it makes them rather embarrassed. even so, it makes them happy that you cheer them on deep down

feels a kick of giddiness when you go on rants about your own awesomeness, your previous adventures (that you probably made up), or when you start arguing with an inanimate object, acting as if it has insulted you somehow. you're so cool, but also so silly!

sometimes shares their snacks with you. they taste bland, sure, they know that - but it's their way of bonding, and you can't turn that down, especially in a place like this. you're really the only person who'd eat their food with them, anyway

since they're good at drawing, they've made a couple of pictures of you - all in your radiating glory! if only there were a fridge to pin them on… you still cherish their gifts nonetheless

✧ he will comfort you with every fiber of his being if it means seeing you smile, even just a little. your self-deprecation breaks his heart…

✧ while he likes taking care of you, he's a workaholic and may occasionally neglect his own needs in order to help you instead. this inadvertently "proves" you're a "jinx", which elliot denies profusely

✧ whether he realizes it himself or you tell him directly, he'll take note that he's been coddling you and will try to break that habit. keyword: try. but he didn't mean to treat you like a child, he's really sorry for that

✧ being good at drawing, he collaborates on making picture books with you! he gets ecstatic with the results, with your storytelling weaving nicely with his illustrations. the books you two make soothe the other survivors

✧ he'd read some of them to his little sister, if he could…

✧ uses rush hour if he sees you hurt. this does get him some scolding from builderman and dusekkar for using his ability irresponsively after a round, but he just can't help it sometimes

✧ if you want to make pizzas with him, he will love you forever. he doesn't care if you may mess up or anything, he's eating and sharing those slices with joy

✧ really affectionate and caring overall. he reassures you that you are not a jinx in the slightest, and that you deserve to be happy

✧ with your constant claims of bringing misfortune to others, they genuinely believe you've been cursed one way or another, and that…fascinates them

✧ either way, they pray for your safety and happiness

✧ like elliot, they make a pretty good artist and would help you create picture books. because two time is a bit insane in the membrane, though, the stories you'd both make often came out… scary. discomforting, even. it's okay though, they'd try to make more lighthearted things eventually. emphasis on "try"

✧ if you think it'd help, you have praying sessions together so that your "curse" can be dispelled. two time assures you it's working and that all your prayers are heard, you just have to wait for it to fully come into fruition. they'll still pray for you alone regardless if you don't want to join in any of that

✧ when being chased, they almost always come to your rescue at the right time. granted, they're skilled at being sneaky in general, but when the killer's right on your tail, they'll swoop right in and stab their dagger right into them with great precision. it feels almost as if they're telling you that you can bring fortune, without outright stating it

✧ brings you flower bouquets to cheer you up. the way the flowers are arranged tend to look messy, but it's the thought that counts

✧ often sticks by your side outside of rounds so that your "misfortune" only goes towards them. they do not immediately realize how derisive this sounds to you

the most affable and calmest of the goons it almost feels pretentious. regardless of affiliation, she'll treat you nicely - dare i say offer you some tea and a seat by the fireplace. seriously. he will not hesitate to pull a "no more mr. nice guy" when necessary, though

uses a rapier rather than a linked sword (which is what mafioso uses) to show that he is the closest to the don, while also showing he is still his own person

resolves disputes and attentively listens to both sides of the argument before coming with a solution, as expected of a true consigliere. if both sides happen to be very unpalatable/hard to reason with however she more or less Loses it (in a calm way…usually)

a bit of a flirt (she's perpetuating the stereotype, i'm afraid), but is generally not committed to any serious relationships. sometimes uses his charm in order to deceive others/get her way

his tail feathers spread when frightened/surprised. she also uses her tail to intimidate or flirt with others

cannot handle spicy food. capo teases him for it

doesn't wear a tie, instead he has the top of his shirt unbuttoned, usually with a tusk pendant around his neck

in contrast to consig's grace and finesse, he is gruff and manly. the question is violence, and his answer is yes

imitates the don to a degree, from his cunningness, to his interrogation style, to how he takes someone's life. it's clear he looks up to him greatly, but he doesn't like it when others point out he "tries too hard to be like the boss"

^ he does have a personality outside of this however, such as being being outwardly more arrogant yet highly caring towards his fellow crewmates - all in his own way. he denies the latter trait sometimes, but that's only because he's shy about it

looks after his tusks with care and shows them with pride. will punch you if you try to touch them without asking first. otherwise he's chill

has accidentally stepped on consig's tail a few times. consig knows they do this unintentionally and always forgives them, though she does wish they were less clumsy

it is… definitely a guy. rather spacey in comparison to the other goons, making non sequiturs at random. it's hard to know what he's thinking, or if it's even thinking at all

^ nevertheless, it takes its job seriously - the way he takes out enemies is considered to be more violent than on average. whether or not he's faking his eccentricity is still up for debate however

digs holes in his free-time. everyone else falls into them sometimes and they scold him for it. he kinda doesn't care
