 The tweets burst forth into the remaining nodes of the once great global Internet.

 Hurtling headlong through frayed fiber toward the dark, shattered mobile screens of nobody in particular.

  “They were very DISHONEST. So FOOLISH. So TOXIC. Shame!”

  Implacable between the air bursts, the lonely posts dumped unabated to a now less than social network.

  “I showed them. Nobody messes with the realDonaldTrump. #MAGA”

  Nobody favorited. No trolls retorted. No cheerleaders exalted. Nobody cared. Not even his majesty the real, real Donald Trump himself.

 They were as terminal as the velocity of the next round of incoming warheads.

  But that’s just what happens when you pay the best of the nation’s worst to code a sentient Twitter bot.

  All to do the daily lifting, while you Mar a Lago the day away.

  Your golf game gets shot to hell.
