Also if you need a little help finding the planets, there’s a few important things to know: Planets do not twinkle because they are so much closer than any star but our own.
Also, all planets follow the ecliptic, which is the plane the planets orbit on. It generally goes from east to west and tilts southward. It does move up and down depending on the earth’s position and its axis. although, right now it’s fairly overhead, but still slightly southward, for the northern hemisphere btw.
Also, Venus is always the brightest object, (besides the moon and sun) the second is Jupiter, they should be easy to find. Mars is also really close to us right now and is bright and tinted red. They are always the easiest 3 to spot in the sky.
