Sky Flier is such a bright pony! She is the second of my tiny flea market haul, but probably my favorite! For some reason I always gravitate to the unicorns in G1. They’re always just so regal looking!

6" G5s. Their manes come styled and are sooo lush and full and silky. The hair quality is amazing!
Very full bodied, holds its shape like G1 hair. But a different type of hair than G1 imo, feels slicker and reflects light more.
Every rose has its thorn, though; Zipp has a ton of product in her hair, rendering it an immovable helmet. None of the others have product, thankfully. (Anyone have tips for getting it out?)
I think their tails are made of a different type of hair; it feels different and Sunny's tail color is subtly different from her mane. Specifically it reminds of G3 Petal Blossom who came with a free baby pony.
Looks like normal G3 hair (which the non-free-baby version had), but felt different and would NOT take dye, as I discovered when I customized her.
Anyway, the G5 tails match the manes quite well. Would be interested in seeing if either mane or tail will take regular RIT dye.
The boys have molded manes and brushable tails. Fingers crossed for brushable manes someday.

She was dirty on the outside, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts . . . Unfortunately on the inside she was coated with rust! I threw out her rusty tail washer and scrubbed her inside and out. She has a mane and tail trim and her white streak is a bit offcolor from years of rust leaking out (yikes), but overall she looks a lot better (and cleaner).
