Shimmer Windbelle

I would have liked to have done a lot more for her hair and may still get the chance before sending her home, but I had to rather suddenly pack up everything I owned and this commission went with me. As of queuing these posts (May 28, 2026), these are packed in a tub waiting for the move.

The dolls and ponies that were in this batch are stuck out in a storage unit until further notice. They'll need worked on some more before they can finally go home.

I don't have my own home, yet (my son and I each have a room in my parents' house), and don't have room to have any of my dolls, ponies, or most of my tools and materials with me. I have some of my tools and have worked on a couple Barbies for my mom's Little Free Library here and there.

I do have a full time job! It doesn't pay enough to live independently, but it's more than I was able to have before.

Hopefully things will keep moving forward even if slowly, and maybe some day I can get back to working on doll and pony hair. I miss it.

I still want to get some videos taken of how I fix things because I'm terrible at explaining it in words even with pictures and I want to share my methods with as many people as possible.

Little Pretty Glitter n Grow Puppy Melody's hair is crumbling so I didn't play with it too much. The hair growth mechanism is very simple and a lot of fun.
