My professor keeps forgetting about me.
Every week in my biolab, each group has to present their latest findings on their project. Today, it was mine and another group members' turn to present in class for our group. Not only that, but today was the last day for any presentations. Of course, our group always ends up going last. So, the group before us finally finishes but before we can do anything, our professor goes to the front of the class and starts talking about what we're going to be doing today. Me and my group are all like 'what?' and i'm there thinking, 'i don't remember presenting yet'. Finally he finishes and he's like,
Prof: So we're done! no more presentations anymore!
Me: [slowly raises hand] Um, did you forget about us?
Prof: You didn't present?'
Me: No
Prof: Really?
Me: Yes.
Prof: (joking) Oh, well. We can skip that.
Me: I have absolutely no problem with that whatsoever.
*laughter*
He seriously just forgot about us. After the presentation, he realized this wasn't the first time this had happened to me.
Prof: I did this to you before, didn't I?
Me: What?
Prof: I've cancelled your presentation before.
Me: Oh, yeah! This is the third time in a row that I've been set up to present! We're only supposed to present once! This is my second time because of last week!
Prof: *laughing*
We have 15 minutes of class left and you should be doing your presentations on the project you are no longer doing.
Dr. Skromne, after everyone was forced to change their projects last minute because all our samples died.
The first treatment is at 9 am, the next is at 10 am, and the next is at 12 am. Wait, no. It is not at 12 am. Do not come here at 12 am. I will not be here. Come at noon.
