medical anxiety is taking medication and then for hours after that sitting around and asking yourself 'is this a symptom from the medication or is this just my crippling anxiety making me feel like i'm going insane'

at the end of the day I will always feel the draw to make art and create ... but people complimenting my work does unfortunately light a fire under my ass like nothing else

sometimes speaking to my family is just a really fun game of 'how long will it take me to realise that they aren't even talking about the same topic and talking over me constantly in the hope that I simply give up trying to make my point' and what's great is that it never sinks in until i'm well and truly frustrated and just getting interrupted every 2 words . no one wins ever

if my favorite songs could separate my ribs, crawl into the space where my lungs and my esophagus meet and thump thump th-thump their bassline so loudly it could kickstart my heart into a rhythm that jostles my brain back into place

would it be fucked up to show a movie like The Thing to a child and tell them that it was based off of real events to dissuade them from wanting a dog (because as we adults know, dogs can catch the Thing Virus. Thingus) or would that be a funny story that the child would tell fondly at your funeral
