The umbrella, when it rains - 

Khel would insist. Too bad it’s a small umbrella though, and only covers like half of Nate’s one shoulder. Hope you didn’t decide to wear white today, Lutz.

The popcorn at the cinema - 

Khel would insist. He would eat like half a kernel and then just hold the rest of it to the seat so Nate’d have to reach for his crotch if he wanted popcorn.

The baby, when it cries - 

Bros babysitting Alma’s baby?? Khel would try to play ‘airplane’ with it and “accidentally” drop it a few times—so Nate’s permanent baby-holder.

The ice cream cone, when they share - 

Doesn’t matter. It still ends up all over Nate’s face and boobs.

The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie - 

Khel will, and then spends the entire movie disassembling the remote. He’ll probably hit a bunch of buttons in the process and turn the language to Swahili with Korean subtitles. Nate suffers through it.

The basket, when they go shopping - 

Khel, and he fills it with the grossest/most embarrassing things before leaving it to Nate to check out.

The door, on dates - 

Nate probably does it to be nice, Khel does it to feign kindness.

The other’s hand, most often - 

Khel, and he passes it off as a cultural custom—it is—but also because he knows Nate doesn’t trust him, so subdued physical contact is just another way to reaffirm their bond—hand-holding mimics trust. And practicing the actions will slowly validate them.

Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day - 

Khel, because he’s snuck in inside the body of a wedding guest, and being in such close proximity to a courier of heaven is really goddamn risky. But hey, can’t miss bro’s wedding day. Even if he is getting hitched to some disgusting angel.
