Sizing Up || Ben & Irene
Having lived in White Crest now for about a year, Irene felt she had gotten a decent grasp of her surroundings. At the very least, she definitely had pinpointed certain spots she enjoyed spending some of her time. So on a particularly warm day (and thankfully a day off), she grabbed her bag of knitting needles and yarn and headed to the Common to enjoy the day and work on a scarf.
As she found a spot a bit off the road, Irene settled down. Already she could pick up a few emotions from those around her. Hopefully it wouldn’t be a crowded day, she thought. Looking around, she could see a scattering of people in their own little bubble when she was suddenly struck by a feeling that seemed... a little off yet familiar. It took her a moment to pinpoint, but as she glanced around, she spotted an individual she hadn’t seen in quite a while.
“Ben,” she called out with a polite smile and a gentle wave.
