올해 서울국제여성영화제에서 비디오 게임문화 속 여성혐오를 다루는 <방해말고 꺼져> 상영과 더불어 쟁점 토크의 패널로 아니타 사키시안님이 함께 했습니다. 영화 이후 아니타 사키시안의 토크인 <이젠 신물나: 온라인 괴롭힘의 대가>를 듣고, 해당 강연에 대한 Q&A을 가지며 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.
At this year’s SIWFF, the documentary <GTFO : Get the F&#% Out> was screened along with Anita Sarkeesian’s Polemics Talk 3 “I Am So Tired : The Costs of Online Harrassment”. Famerz watched the documentary and attended Anita’s talk. It was such a meaningful time with lots of good Q&As.

FTM trans Jin-soo gets ready to go out to meet his friend Na-young after a long time. There is determination on his face as he dresses. He arrives at the bus stop but hesitates to approach Na-young when he sees her waiting for him. He stops by the salon to get a ‘boyish’ haircut. Just as he thinks he can confidently reveal himself to Na-young, an unexpected obstacle makes him hide away again. Now, it is Na-young who stands up and supports the changed Jin-soo. [KIM Kyungtae]
