Lily Aldrin - HIMYM
Show - How I Met Your Mother Character - Lily Aldrin Actor - Alyson Hannigan Number of seasons - 9
Lily Aldrin's wardrobe was as colourful as her paintings — and just as unpredictable. She dressed the way she lived- bold, bright, and a little unexpected.
For some reason i thought of a situation. What would you genuinely do if a drunk handsome beautiful person pokes their face in your crotch and passes the fuck out.
Would you just continue talking with your friends? Would you punch that person to death? Would you try to get them up?
Something happened in my brain and i thought of this.
bosco but british. call that shit boscolion the third.
New community?
How about a community for those of us creating podcast comedies about regular people, getting on with their everyday lives, just that they are presented with common and/or unusual life challenges? Any suggestions for a title? To be even more specific, I'm thinking of podcasts that do not have Horror elements, maybe limited or incidental sci-fi or fantasy. I have two that would qualify, but it would be a bit lonely...

Kath and Kim (2002-7), Da Kath and Kim Code (2005), and Kath and Kimderella (2012)
An Australian mother and daughter struggle to deal with life’s trials and rope in their family for their misguided adventures.
A great deal of the humour is consistent throughout the franchise and rather than increasing the joke it changes details to make them feel new but familiar. The word play is particularly good at times because they warp common phrases to mean new things with several meanings. It works as a parody of reality TV shows with the hand-held camera and zooms during conversation.
Sometimes the jokes are so consistent that they are repetitive, although some phrases that aren’t jokes become them later in a different context. The locations are fairly limited due to the budget so there are only so many places that the narratives can go but there is still an attempt to change it up with guests and flashbacks. The first film is fairly consistent with the series but the second one gets a little more freedom and a new environment, although there should have been a harsher ending for the tyrant villains.
The characters are all likeable even though some are deeply flawed because it’s made clear that they’re deliberate archetypes. It’s enjoyable because one knows roughly where it’s going but not specifically, like many situation comedies, and though most jokes are regular, some are subverted enough to be extra amusing. Prue and Trude are also specific to the viewer but they can be humorous both for their sarcastic hatred of seemingly everyone else and their alliteration.
It takes a few episodes to get used to the individual humour of the series, in particular the amount of shouting that the characters do to mimic reality show families. As with some sit-coms there’s little development for the characters and even when there is a small amount, it’s usually undone in the credits sequence so things are back to normal the next week.
Kath and Kim: 7/10 -Well above average, but no masterpiece-
Da Kath and Kim Code: 6/10 -Just a cut above average-
Kath and Kimderella: 7/10 -Well above average, but no masterpiece-
-The actor playing Kim sings the opening theme song.
-The house the characters lives in borders a canal but this was considered to upperclass so the view of it is blocked by a fence.
-Despite playing mother and daughter, the actor playing Kath is only 5 months older than the actor playing Kim.

In the old-time automobile world, an “antique” is older than 45, a “classic” dates from 20 to 45 years ago. It’s been in that spirit that in recent years I’ve been adding more material to Travalanche about the ’80s and ’90s (much as TCM has begun showing movies from that period. After all, a 40 year old was born in 1982!) Ironically, now I’ve written about many shows I was far less devoted to…

Sam and Max endings
So I finished Watching playthroughs of Sam and Max a few days ago and I finally decided to put my opinions in words. The ending of season 3 was amazing, but a few things stuck with me; I am going to talk about it and why it stuck with me because why not?
Let's start with the routes! I am going with the adventure route because it is my favourite. In the adventure route Sam told Sybil about his adventures with Max and that he can't lose Max because of it, he needs Max by his side as they crash into mysteries. In the end of the game he lays down his hat when he mourns which in the game we see it was very important to him. he just leaves it there until he sees the empty time machine with past Max (which i am going to get to later) looking what is inside with him and nearly forgets it. What stuck with me is the hat, he left it there as if to say “the past few years is now gone. Life is changing, all of these ADVENTURES are over now” and when past Max came they go on the time machine to an ADVENTURE, but not without nearly forgetting his hat which says “our ADVENTURES will continue”.
Next I am going to talk about the crime fighting ending! in that one he tells Sybil that without max he would be a grim loner assaulting crooks and crook like punks in a hopelessly over narrated fashion, kinda sounds like Noir Sam to be honest. In the end of that route we see him staring into the distance, in that one we can guess that Sam would continue his job (personally I think after some time of continuing the job he snaps after having to constantly remind himself Max is gone and go Noir again). Then we see past Max and they decided to continue CRIME FIGHTING and talking about it in the distance. you are all probably wondering why I keep putting emphasis on adventure and crime fighting; it is because what Sam said effected what they were going to do. If you the player believe that Sam thinks their adventures are important it reflects how Max knows what Sam thinks about their friendships and acts towards it. If you choose crime fighting as what Sam would have chosen then past Max would have go on more crime fightings with Sam. I find this as such a cool detail to be honest!
Lastly lets talk about past Max because he leaves such an impression on me. When we meet past Max he talks about what happened, in his timeline Sam turned into a giant monster with electromagnetic powers, so max blowed him up. Sam calls him past Max so it is possible that that Max is from season 2 episode 4 “Chariots of the Dogs”, if you don’t know or a bit hazy on what happened, Sam and Max found a time traveling machine and they had to mess around with the past to help Bosco from not being a half cow half Bosco. During their time traveling adventure they meet their past selves from season 1 episode 2 "Situation Comedy", the past Sam and Max took the time traveling machine and made the current Sam and Max to redo the past year. Depending on what you believe happened to them is your guess, but for me I think that they missed out that entire year and a half because of this. Anything that they could have learned, discover, and or grow from is now GONE. At least this is what I think. as much i want to talk about that there is something I want to focus on and that is past Max and the time machine. past Max is not necessarily a past Max or a parallel version of Max (as some of you portray, Sam turned into an electromagnetic monster, not a tentacle eldritch god, 2 completely different things) he is from an alternate timeline. Someone on here pointed out the fact that Max DOESN’T know how to use the time machine, so Max it would have been taking a long long time figuring out how to use it. Either he misses his Sam so much that he had to go to an alternate timeline to make himself feel better OR he might not be telling us the whole story. It might sound as a stretch, but does anyone find it weird that past Max shows up? like Sam is out there mourning and all, but then we have Max who went “I am going to find an alternate timeline where I am dead and befriend the sam there!”. I would give past Max credit and say that he missed his best friend very much and that he is a creative problem solver, but I can’t get that feeling of Max is not telling Sam everything off my mind; he left everyone and everything behind just to see Sam again.
anyways thanks for anyone who read my rant XD if anyone wants to know, i am thinking of making an AU where Sammun-mak gets a robot body and live his life as a kid for once, bye!
