I've just finished Belasvis Sith Warrior's storyline and I REALLY hope Somminic Timmns will appear somewhere later because he's got such good chemistry with my Sith Warrior.

I'm alive! Well, maybe just a little, but this condition has haunted me throughout the past year. Does anyone else know this?

The transponder Station Scene (with my SW)
Hiii, please forgive any mistakes TT. This is my first proper fanfiction and it is not proof-read. This oneshot (I might continue it, idk), is about the transponder station scene that happened before Coriella with my Sith Warrior and Quinn (Female SW, romanced Quinn) Words: 2.4k
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asura knew something was up when Quinn told her about the new mandate. She never heard of such a thing, let alone from the documents she received on her datapad through communications from other officers on Corellia. However, she trusted Quinn, and despite her crewâs objections, Asura followed the man she loved onto an⌠empty ship? How curiously odd. For an empireâs ship that went through other fleets and ships for passing into Corellia air space, it was oddly empty. Quinn must have had something planned to do such a thing, but again, Asura trusted Quinn meant no harm. So, for once, she ignored her instincts (the same ones that told her danger was near), and continued to venture into an empty transponder chamber with Quinn. Her darling Quinn.
Asura watched as Malavai walked ahead of her, the doors shutting close as Quinn never turned to look her in the eyes. Danger is what her instincts said, and Asura was starting to believe that. For her Quinn never turned his back to her when addressing her.
âMy lordâ Quinn said, an odd tremor clumsily disguised beneath a mask of calm. Asura paused, curious as to what exactly Quinn wanted to communicate. âI regret to inform that our paths must diverge. Out of respect, I wanted to be here to witness your fate,â There it was again. The shaky yet regulated breathing, the stir in the force. Asura knew right then and there, something was terribly wrong. So, Asura cautiously said âIâve got a bad feeling about thisâŚâ Quinn, trying to hide the emotions stirring within him, replied with a carefully yet almost clumsily disguised tone âYour senses have always been keen. It pains me, but this entire scenario is a ruse.â What? Asura froze, unsure how to react. A ruse? Why does Quinn say that this pains him? What has Quinn done? Asuraâs instincts immediately went on high-alert, her hand resting on her lightsaber hilt as Quinn continued
âThere is no martial law, and there is no special signal emitter.â Okay, so Asura was correct on that part. Yet still, something was wrong. Asura could feel it in the force, feel it in Quinnâs voice and his presence in the force. âBaras is my true master. He had me lure you here, to have you killed.â Asuraâs soul crumbled right then and there. Quinn⌠was with Baras? After all this time, after all they've been through together, after⌠everything Baras had done to her and Quinn who had witnessed it⌠Quinn sided with Baras? Asuraâs mind, rather heart, struggled to comprehend this. The man who she gave her heart to willingly, trusted with her life, was no better than another⌠official? Another back-stabbing official of the empire? Asura replied, unable to fully understand why âAfter all weâve been through together? I even helped you take down Moff Broysc.â Quinnâs heart wavered at Asuraâs hurt yet questioning tone, he could feel her pain even if he was no force-sensitive. Yet, Quinn knew he made his choice. There was no turning back after this, not anymore. So, despite what his heart said, Quinn continued âYouâve helped me immensely. I even helped you take down Moff Broysc. I act today with a heavy heart.â Asura understood then, that Quinn was never hers. Not truly, not how it mattered. He belonged to Baras, and that realization hurt Asura more than any other betrayal could. After all⌠its only called betrayal when it happens from those closest to you.Â
Quinn continued, his voice shaking ever so slightly, and Asura caught on. Quinn was conflicted, unsure. Oh⌠how could she blame him? To be caught between two sith in a power battle is never good, especially for officials. Yet the sting of betrayal was deep, much deeper than Asura thought possible. âBut with Baras, Iâd have no career. I didnât want to choose between the two of you. But heâs forced my hand and I must side with him.â The rage Asura felt was something she thought she wasnât capable of. Baras dared touch one of her people? Manipulate him, and hurt him? Asura knew that from that point onwards, Baras was a walking dead man for touching Quinn. No one touches her people. âOnce youâre gone, your crew will either join Baras or be killed.â Asuraâs heart ached. Why? Well, she knew why. But that didnât stop the pain. She could sense Quinnâs pain, and heartache, but it hurt to think that her own lover did this. Her own lover thought her so weak that sheâd be killed so easily. The man who accompanied her through battles and always coming out on-top no matter how dire the situation seemed.Â
Asura tried to reason with Quinn, using the emperorâs name. Surely the emperor took higher priority than Darth Baras for Quinn, who was one of the most loyal men of the empire. âYou know who Iâm working for now, Captain. If you stand with Baras, you stand against the Emperor himself.â Asura knew this was an empty plea, for she heard the scepticism that Quinn had for the hands, for any of this. But she couldnât not try. Asura didnât want to hurt Quinn. Not like this, not yet.Â
âThe Emperor is an absentee landlord. Baras is doing what any real patriot would do.â Despite knowing the outcome and the type of response Quinn would give, hearing what Quinn said, was like him twisting a knife in her heart all the while whispering that he never trusted her judgement. Asura was loyal to the empire, she truly loved the empire as her home despite what it had done to her. She knew Quinn was far too deep in Barasâs manipulations and that only made her anger towards Baras grow and her pain at Quinnâs betrayal cut deeper.
âAfter all this time observing you in battle, I have exhaustively noted your strengths and weaknesses.â Quinn said, a hint of confidence in his tone. Asura paused. Was that why Quinn always watched her when she fought? Was this why he protected her back, only to be the one to stab the knife deep inside? Asura thought Quinn watched because he found it⌠mesmerising, or at least that is what she was told from Quinn himself. She was an utter fool to believe such words. Yet Asura knew this routine like the back of her hand. An enemy would come, saying they found her weakness, and then she would destroy them with Quinn by her side. The only difference now, was that Quinn was the enemy, and she was left alone on the other side.Â
And then Asura saw why Quinn appeared ever so confident as the doors behind him opened. Out came 2 large droids, menacing in appearance. Oh how Asura hated droids, their clunky machinery and lack of emotions always made it a hassle to fight. The droids walked forward, as Quinn let more words spill from his lips âThese war droids have been programmed specifically to combat you. I calculate a near 0 percent chance of their failure.â Ah yes, Quinnâs love for numbers. Asura always found it adorable, but who knew it would come back and bit her in her ass? However, she knew that Quinnâs love for numbers and facts and anything logical would be his downfall. After all, the force was not a logical thing, for it was mysterious and ever-changing. Asura replied dryly as she ignited her dual-blade red lightsaber âYour confidence in odds is your biggest weakness.â Yet what Asura said did not deter Quinn, but rather only seemed to amuse him as he replied âIf anything, Iâve underestimated my droid's chances. Youâll find that they are virtually immune to you. Iâm sorry itâs come to this, my lord.â Oh, Asura knew she would enjoy wiping that little smirk off of Quinnâs face and tear down his confidence.Â
The droids started to fire, and Asura leaped into the air. It was odd for her, not having Quinn at her back, but Asura knew she could manage without him. The droids were fierce that was clear, but Asura was a sith, she was the Emperorâs Wrath. If she couldnât take down some mere droids, then she wouldnât be where she is. Asura scowled as she avoided blaster bolts, which grazed her armour. Damned droids, she hated them. And the moment those droids were defeated, Quinn stepped in, pointing the same blaster he used to defend her⌠at her. Asura realized she would never recover from this. Not fully anyway. There was a certain pain that buried and etched itself onto her soul that came from fighting oneâs beloved like this, as she reluctantly fought Quinn, trying to avoid hurting him in the worst areas and leaving only the necessary wounds as Asura deflected blaster bolts.
At the end, Quinn stood in front of her, confusion and realisation etched onto his features that perhaps⌠he chose the wrong person. Quinn said, his voice shaking as his confusion and desperation to survive was echoed into the force, which Asura heard, yet⌠quietly ignored âI should have known. I thought I programmed the perfect killing machine for you. I was painstakingly precise.â Asura knew he was, because if he wasnât, Baras would have his head. Yet the thought of Quinn actively creating and manufacturing droids whose sole purpose was to make her meet her demise⌠Asura shook her head to take her mind away from Quinnâs severe breach of trust, to distract her from the call of the dark side as it whispered into her ear to kill the man who betrayed her, who played her like a fiddle with whispers of love and then used that love to rip her heart into shreds.Â
Asura replied, still unable to prevent herself from trying to give Quinn even a hint of solace âYour droids pushed me, it was a⌠valiant attempt.â Both Quinn and Asura knew how horrible of an attempt at comfort that was, and Quinnâs dry humour shone as he replied âThatâs little consolation. I have betrayed you, conspired with your most hated enemy. I know it is meaningless to express my deep regret. I donât expect your mercy.â Asura almost wanted to smile. Even now, Quinn still remained as logical as he could after knowing how sith dealt with betrayal. But when it came to Quinn, Asura threw logic out the window. Asura will deal with her emotions about this later, other than the anger that she felt towards Baras, knowing that after Baras dies⌠she will break down, but thatâs alright. Right now, the focus is the man in front of her. Asura knew she wouldnât hurt him, and would never be able to bring herself to do such an act. So, Asura simply replied âI understand your confusion, Baras can be⌠very persuasive. I forgive you, Quinn.â But.. Asura knew that deep down, sheâd never be able to forget this, nor be able to truly trust Quinn like she once did. Yet⌠she hoped that one day she could gain a bond with him once again on a similar level. She wonât be greedy this time. Quinnâs eyes widened in shock and confusion, as he stammered âMy lord⌠I am deeply grateful. Darth Baras would never afford me the same forgiveness. If you permit me to stay in your charge, my dedication to you will never come into question again.â
Quinnâs relief was palpable in the force, his voice shaky as his eyes lit up. Asura almost sighed in relief, but refused to be vulnerable in front of Quinn. She couldnât, not after what he did, not when the wound that bled was still fresh in her soul. She could welcome him back into her crew, that was without a doubt, but her⌠life? The life she shared with him before? No, she couldnât, for the same reason she wouldnât let herself be vulnerable in front of Quinn now. So, Asura simply replied, despite what she was going to say was going to hurt her even more âYou can rejoin the crew, but you are no longer welcome in my quarters.â
Quinnâs face fell, and his eyes dimmed. Asuraâs heart dropped her stomach, her heart lurching as nausea pooled in her stomach from hurting Quinn. However, she knew she had to do this. For herself, otherwise there would be no telling what she would do. Quinn simply said quietly, regret and grief in his voice âMy actions have cost me dearly, then.â Then Quinn went back to his formal, closed-off tone as he continued âThis interruption has delayed you enough. Iâm eager to return at the ship and put this behind us.â Put this behind us? Was Quinn truly so naive? No, Asura knew he wasnât. It was something he was telling himself rather than her to deal with his emotions, to cope with what he had done.
With that, Asura and Quinn went back to the hangar, but instead of Quinn being behind her or by her side, Quinn walked in front of her. He knew Asura didnât trust him anymore, not like she once did, and that hurt Quinn despite knowing it was fully deserved. Asura, on the other hand, kept a close eye on Quinn, unable to let him walk by her again due to his actions and the cesspool that were her emotions. The two reached the hangar, and Asura turned to face Quinn as she said, âThe ship is through there. Prepare for departure. Iâll join you shortly.â Quinn, resigned to his fate, simply nodded in response and said âOf course my lord. One thing my lord, do you plan on telling the others what happened?â Oh, Asura didnât think about that. But her immediate thought was no. Now was not the time to let anyone know. Not when tensions were high, and certainly not when they were on the brink of victory against Baras. Plus⌠in the end, Asura still wanted to protect Quinn for he still was the man she loved, and she didnât want anyone to undermine his authority. So, Asura simply replied âNo one must know. It will comprise your ability to lead. Am I understood?â Asura could sense Quinnâs relief in the force, and knew she made the right choice. After hearing that, Malavai simply nodded and left, as Asura was left with her thoughts as she watched his back enter the ship. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
