Do you have any other 🌹 for desk/o14!!!! Sorry I'm in love with them all
Indeed I do, but it's another part of the last one I shared if that's ok!
Sirak smiled warmly as her eyes fell upon Desik donning a thick, wintry coat of yellow, clearly hand-stitched with love for her four arms. She waddled about in it, the fluff-lined hood over her gentle little head as she cooed like a bird and mimicked flying in circles. The mother chuckled, and nodded. "She clearly loves birds," Sirak said.
Saint-14 nodded. "She loves to come with me for birdwatching, and we feed the tower pigeons every morning and night."
"How lovely for her to grow up with Earth culture," Sirak commented. "I'm so glad she's with you two now."
Osiris bowed before the mother, kneeling. "Thank you for letting us take care of her. She is the Light the Traveler cannot provide, and the happiness neither of us could find."
Glancing over at Desik, she tripped on her own foot and fell to her face, crying out.
Saint quickly rushed to her side. Lifting the child up, he kissed her gently, and bounced Desik in his arms. "Shh, shh, little one," he said. "It's only a fall. Be easy." He kissed her again.
Now, Sirak grinned, nodding. "You two are the perfect parents for her. I promise entirely."
Osiris smiled beneath his mask, and nodded back. He stood before the mother, looking into her sagging eyes with dark circles beneath them. "Are you certain you're getting enough sleep, Sirak?" he asked. "You still look exhausted."
"Clearly no more or less sleep than you're getting," she replied with a chuckle.
Sighing, the Warlock shrugged. "Taking care of Desik is hard work, but it's worth every second."
"Agreed!" said Saint enthusiastically as he carried the hatchling, and walked beside his husband. He leaned over, then kissed Osiris's cheek. "Though Sirak is right, and so is Desik. You need more sleep, my love. Perhaps I should take over for your shifts the next few nights in addition to my own."
Osiris nodded. "That would be nice, my dear. Thank you."
Sirak's smile never waned as she watched the fathers work out their parenting times. She bowed back to Osiris and Saint, head low. "I can see you take the utmost care of Desik, and that warms my heart, as your kind says. Thank you. Which of you made the jacket for her?"
"I did!" Saint said perkily, smiling warmly. "Zavala has knitted sweaters for her as well for the normal weather, but I figured I'd try my hand at sewing."
"You did incredible," Sirak promised. "She looks very warm in there."
"I can make some more for your other children if you'd like!"
"That would be much appreciated, thank you."
