@sinren asked: "Don friend!!" A gleeful little chirp is given as two dripping arms suddenly find themselves wrapping around the security guard's middle from behind. And the siren gives him a squeeze before finally releasing him and stepping around to give him a sharp smile. And upon showing herself, it was clear now by the bathing suit, that she'd just finished swimming⊠Which thankfully explained the wet limbs.
"Hi hi friend mine! What doin' this day??"
The hotel's security guard had heard Haven's voice before he felt their arms wrapped around his middle from behind, halting his attempt to turn towards them, letting the squeeze happen before they released him, resuming his turnaround to notice Haven wearing a bathing suit.
"Hello, Haven... I'm doing okay as usual... Did you just get out of the hotel's pool?" That would explain why the back of his jacket and some of his dress vest was slightly soaked, but he didn't mind, making a quick mental note to have his slightly wet clothes dry-cleaned by Niffy after his patrol.
"Just doing my rounds on patrol, so nothing new to report so far... Yet." He gave them a brief nod in greeting, gesturing for the siren to follow him down the hallway... There was a supply closet on the ground floor that had spare towels.

âHi hi your majesties..!â The tall siren came up beside the man as he stood near the hotelâs bar.
She seems to peer around with a curious look, and when she realizes Husk wasnât manning the counter like usual. She grinned and then gestured to a small jar of cherries just on the other side of Lucifer.
âCan please hand those..?? Will thanking so much.â
"Well hey there, little fishy!" Er, big fishy. Then again, everyone was taller than Lucifer down here, what else was new.
"Don't mind me, just manning the post while that fluffy cat fellow gets some R&R. He definitely needed it." Lifting his cane, Lucifer stuck it underneath the jar of cherries, easily (and probably magically) flicking it into the air to catch in his free hand and hand to Haven.
"Ta-da!" he said, grinning as he placed the jar on the counter in front of her. "Oop, wait, looks like I'm missing one."
And, because he could, he reached up to pull the missing cherry out from behind her ear. A classic.
"Friend Moo-ra?" Haven cast a curious look down to the mollusk currently in her hands... It doesn't take much to pry the thing open, and when she does, she's poking around inside of it, and then carefully removing one of it's pearls with a delicate precision.
"Do ever wondering why shelled creatures these make shiny things inside mouths? Do think... If Havie keep mouth mine closed so tight for longer times, that could also making a shiny thing?"
"That's a good question... maybe it's just part of the shell?" Mura had truly never given it much thought--indeed, she had just gobbled down her own clam and tossed the remains away without concern. But now that Haven pointed it out...
She floated up behind her companion, peeking over her shoulder at the pearl in question. "I don't think you could keep your mouth closed for that long!" she said with a giggle. "You'd have to eat eventually, right? I'll tell you something, though--humans LOVE these."
đ - haven doesnât have a phone, so just assume she grabbed his phone and took some nice pictures for him to find later ;)

Looks like teaching Haven how to use technology had paid off--for him, anyway. Church certainly hadn't expected her to figure out the camera, let alone use it to take naked selfies. He'd assume they were just normal selfies, because she was usually naked anyway... but these were some decidedly cheeky angles...
Either way, he's saving them, and then going to track down his fishy fiancee. For reasons.
âHi hi cutie Chrrch~! Looking what Havie find!!!â Giving an excited grin, the siren seems to fumble around in the water with some kind of large, colorful piece of⊠Plastic? Debris maybe?
It only becomes clear when she flops on top of it playfully and starts floating her way over to him. That what she actually had, seemed to be some type of abandoned body-board someone had lost to the waves no doubt.
A siren on a body-boardâ Thereâs something you donât see everyday!
"Hey, cutie fish!" As usual, Church was more than happy to see his aquatic girlfriend, smiling as he stepped into the surf to meet her halfway--only to pause halfway and blink in surprise when he realized just what the siren was doing.
Catching some sick waves in the future, apparently.
Suppressing a snicker, he continued to march out into the water to greet her. "Where'd you manage to find that, huh? Didn't steal it, right?"

âMoo-ra! Friend!â Darting over to the other in buzzing excitement, she manages to glide a happy little circle around her friend, before finally coming to a stop in front of her.
âLook!! Looking what Havie find-!â Saying this, she quickly holds up some kind of plastic toy she found. It was one of those little dancing flowers that often sat on the dashboards of peopleâs cars. It was halfway wiggling around with her movements, and she grinned as she looked it over and poked at it. The flower in question had little sunglasses and everything!
One could truly find just about anything in the ocean these daysâŠ
âWhat is?? Do knowing??â
"Havieeeee!" Mura, grinning from ear to ear, spun in a circle to track her friend with a happy flick of her tail. When Haven showed her the toy, her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates.
"Whooooa, where'd you find this?!" she asked in awe, reaching out to gently take it in her hands. "It must be some sort of totem to a human deity! Judging by the design..."
She paused, giving the bouncy figurine an experimental flick.
"Some sort of agricultural or fertility god, maybe?"
A rather large fish tail is seen briefly, long enough to splash water at them before it disappears in the water and something is heard quickly sloshing and swimming behind the nearby rocks.
[[sorry if this isnât great, I made it kinda open so u can pick whoever u want to reply!]]
The two had been at the docs fishing. Well, Darla had been fishing while her older brother sat next to her reading. It was a rare activity for the two given his allergy to fish but, today she was just catching and releasing.
It's the very second that Andrew looks up from his book, giving his eyes as break as he finishes his chapter when they see the fishtail. He drops his book to the side as Darla does the same with her fishing rod and the two look at each other. Both of them in similar states of surprise and curious.
It's a shame neither of them know how to swim, but the rocks are at least in the shallow part of the water. The two wade through the hip deep water and poke their heads over the water and gasp. They've never seen a siren like this before.
"Hello?" Andrew says, timidly. Not wanting to scare her off but, wanting to talk to her at the same time.
The siren may or may not have been scoping out the new area for a bite to eat. Whether that bite was meant to be fish or⊠Something else. Either way, they were still very interested in this new little biome theyâd stumbled across.
They were just about to sneak up on one of the unsuspecting squid nearby. Golden eyes illuminating in interest.
However, before they could get a good go at it, something frightens it off, and soon enough they hear a voice speak to them.
The fins on either side of their head perk up as they glance towards the sound, then they dart off in a swift motion in order to hide behind a nearby rock.
They donât answer the individual, but itâs clear theyâre curious by the way theyâre immediately peering around the rock afterwards in order to stare at them.
What sort of fish was THAT supposed to be?
With the Lamb already finding themselves diving this deep into the ocean, the seaâs familiar gravitational pull had already clung itself tightly to the confines of their bulky form. The closer they were to Anchordeepâs horrors, the more abundant the pressure in their body grew heavier as more of its coldblooded residents were swimming about on the hunt for food. Itâs often they hardly liked to take a stroll down their biggest section of their empire, normally preferring land over the salty sand banks down in the oceanâs dark depths where its plankton often cling to their ginger wool (which always took a dayâs time to wash out); without much relief to be had in waving them off during their time spent in the watery depths. Yet as unbothered as they were with the sea regardless, it held no true power over their form for the way the Emperor walked through the cool water without a notion to swim. What use would they have to swim when the water would be transformed into their very breath, where their blue eyed crown that forever clung to their ear helped it breathe? The heavy pressure still reminded. But drowning was of little consequence, when death mattered little, in turn.
Their long curly hair trails behind them, aimlessly floating above being the only minor annoyance in their lone walk. Yet with going on a conquest for a dear follower to bring back some crystals to heal another mortalâs mind from the horrorâs of death, they could only endure their crownâs main godly pains until theyâve collected all they needed in their endless crusade. But then again, when they had so much time on their hands as an immortal, who could stop them from enjoying their time down here? To bring back home some company, to lull another mortal into their cult, to bring their flock another companion to enjoy? A community wasnât without its diversity. And to be honest⊠Theyâve been needing to brush up their ocean linguistics, since theyâve still had their troubles translating even with the help of their oceanâs crown.
For now the Lamb only gave some minor pause when this strange creatureâs meal had gone squirting a cloud of ink upon them both, leaving themselves to swiftly be discovered in a startling fright. The ram blinks, with their crimson veil behind useless to cover their mismatched inky and mocha features, being slightly more surprised at the sudden retraction. They knew they often towered over most, even if they couldnât help their heightened growth that came along with their acquired power. But for all the dread they bring as death, one still had to perfect their charm in luring fragile beings into their web; and it would seem they were failing on that mark right out of the gate. They grit their teeth then with a light furrow of their brow. The Emperor wanted to mentally curse themselves at making this amateur mistake, forgetting their steps were still practically silent under the madding mask of their seaâs silence. However, for all of their luckâŠ
.. Fate would seem to be smiling on them, if not to play in with a bit of mischief.
Their ears snap to attention, their many crown eyes widen with sudden focus fixated upon the unusual silvery scaled being that perked up from behind their giant hiding spot. Curiosity, a fatal key to draw one in. A mortal emotion that often plagued any creature with a will to search, to seek into the unknown. Alas, even the ewe couldnât help but find itself drawn to the golden stare that attracted their own. Itâd been rare for the dead to pay death in gold, much less the living.
Instinctively, the familiar pull of their warm, welcoming smile takes hold upon their features, an old habit theyâve grown since theyâve been forced into their role as Death. Leaning more into the softness of their sheep appearance, the ram tries to pull the otherâs in more with a friendly wave of their scarlet hoof. The Lamb clears their throat then, still getting used to the salt water lingering on their tongue as they open their mouth to form a set of simple words they could manage with breathing in the cold water. âHe.. Heeello!â The wispy whispers of their tongue struggles some to form some of their general greeting, their throat still feeling somewhat rusty with Anchordeepâs general language difference coming rather butchered off of their tongue. Where Hâs were Sâs and the âelloâ coming as a near hissy whisper that felt more in line with a kettle letting out some steam.  They could only hope they were getting it right, since they hardly ever had the time to perfect their words when their ears often translated the language barriers for them constantly.
âPleeeassse pardon, our.. Our sudden introduction. Weee.. diiid not mean to friiighten you, my dear.â Some of their words felt ridge, a minor strain on their part to try make their posing presence more softer than their sharp claws. Their shoulders were slumped, as if to let their tense nerves show through their painful, awkward facade.  âWhen⊠you walk on lonely roads such as these? Itâs raaare.. Itâs rare we find company thiiiis deep upon the ocean sea floor.â They pause for a moment, looking to the sandy ground as they brush a thumb over one of their multiple wedding bands, fidgeting with an index in that instant.
â.. Doooo.. Do you understand what weâre saaaying, my friend?â
