"That tends to be a reoccurring event in Hell, unfortunately." Don admitted with a brief sigh as he started to clean up Esperanza's cut on her arm, already used to the golden blood due to being around both Vaggi and King Lucifer, who both bled golden ichor.
"But as long as you're able to fight and defend yourself, you'll be able to avoid being robbed next time... I'm guessing you were attacked because of you being an angel in Heaven... Even after we ended the exterminations and stopped the overlord Vox from attacking Heaven... It seems not everyone wants to be friendly with Heaven." Which makes sense... The exterminations were still a permanent scar that would take years or even centuries to recover from, even after its permanent end following the death of Adam in the exterminator war.
"Of course, sir... I'll prepare it after I check in with Miss Charlie and Miss Vaggie for the end of today's patrol." Don nodded again, pulling out his Hellphone to check the time before heading off to find Charlie and Vaggie.
After checking in with them, the hotel guard immediately went over to the kitchen to prepare the usual coffee for Alastor and a cup of tea for himself.
The stag simply nodded, observing as he wandered off, before he saw himself to the kitchen. Now, he had brought some new tea for Don, from his time in the mortal realm. It was a habit of his by now, really. To bring his friend a new tea to try now and then.
This one, even Alastor could enjoy. Sobolo, it was called. A drink made from dried hibiscus flowers. It would create the most vibrant, dark pink color. One could use it for alcoholic beverages as well, but it was most commonly used for warm drinks. He had found it accidentally, and quite enjoyed it. So, naturally, he had brought a bag for Don as well.
He'd placed it on the counter for his friend to find, the stag taking his usual seat at the kitchen table.
As Don entered the kitchen, his eyes caught sight of the new tea bag sitting on the counter, walking over to pick it up to examine it, opening the bag to give a quick sniff before looking over at his friend.
"You got a new tea for me to try? Thank you, sir... I'll start seeping up a tea bag for one right away with your coffee." There were some teas that Don never got to try because he didn't know they even existed, so he nodded to Alastor in thanks before pulling out a tea bag out of the bag to set up for later once the teapot was done warming up alongside the coffee maker.
"Well, as we wait for our drinks... Are you okay with you explaining your whereabouts during your brief absence?"

"My apologies." The 'human'-appearing sinner stood up from his kneeling position, straightening out his cargo pants in the process.
"My name is Don Everett, I work for Princess Morningstar's hotel as a security guard." He really didn't want to cause any conflict with the angels in Heaven, not after having Emily's support for the hotel.

"Then do I have your permission to escort you as your bodyguard for today, Miss Charlie?" Don would inquire in his usual calm tone, walking over to his boss before stopping in front of her.
"I'm afraid where I am going you cannot follow, my gallant guard," she said dramatically placing a hand over her forehead.
"I'm going to visit Uncle Mammon in Greed," she added in a more normal tone with a smile.
"Ah, I see." Don unfortunately understood the rule in where sinners like him couldn't cross into the other rings, nodding in understanding.
"Well then... Please be careful out there, Miss Charlie... I would feel comfortable if you had someone to help escort you there safely."

Don's touch was gentle as his fingertips lightly brushed Vaggie's wings carefully, not wanting to make her uncomfortable and simply kept his touch to gentle brushing with the fingertips of his right hand.

It's almost time for my break, but if you need to get settled back to your room in the hotel, then I can wait another time, Mr Alastor." The hotel guard nodded in understanding, internally curious about where his friend had disappeared off to this time.
"That would be lovely, Don~ I could use a good cup of coffee right about now." He'd hum, regarding the other, looking him over with those observant, crimson orbs of his. He was glad to be back.
Ah, but he would be going home after this. He had no intentions of staying at the hotel for now. No. With the inconvenience the contract he had just closed had caused, he needed some quiet. He was merely stopping by to announce his return, and see if there were any issues he needed to deal with.

Although the peace between Heaven and Hell was stable, there were still outside threats that could plan to cause harm to the hotel and its residents.
"This is just my suggestion as the hotel's security guard, but both Miss Charlie and Miss Vaggie make the final decision regarding matters like the weapons."
