I read on itch.io that a year ago you were rewriting and reworking this IF. Are you still doing that, or is it on an official hiatus for the unforeseeable future?

Honestly that was probably the start of my hiatus, not long after that post I had the first of two funerals and went on an unannounced hiatus from pretty much all socials.
Everyone has been super kind and patient and I appreciate that more than you guys know; this year was one of the hardest years of my life. I know everyone is sick of rewrites too, but Sinners needed it. My writing has changed so much and Twine and I know each other so much better.
The rewrite is done (I’m just fine-tuning it), I am simply waiting for a time when I can take a long weekend from work for the release!
It’s crazy during the summer, but with a term break from university I should be good to go. Once I have a time-off in the system y’all will be the second to know after my manager. So, soon?
Hey y’all, unfortunately some real life stuff and bills hit me hard this last half of June, so I am pushing my rewrite release of Sinners a week (expect on or around the 6th). I am not super happy about it because I am so excited for you to read it! But right now I have to be grateful to be able to provide food for my dog and me.
To celebrate the rewrite I will be releasing the entire @twomoons-if demo for free over on itch.io at the same time, I hope any fantasy enjoyers will give that one a chance as well :)
Hopefully I can curate my Patreon into something fans of both games can support and enjoy.

The thing I love the most in fiction are “hard” characters softening slowly over time and the tiny details that show them getting more comfortable (ex: posture) . What are some things that Grey might start doing without even noticing when they get more comfortable in their relationship?
Oh my god, my favorite topic.
Grey has many masks that they wear - they are a spider in control of a massive web of lies, deceit, and manipulation. MC is the only one to free themself. Grey is more relaxed, more at ease, because they don’t have to curate a persona around MC - they don’t have to only be Roman, they can be Grey Roman.
I think the biggest change would be touch or just proximity in general. Their body language will be much more relaxed, more inclined towards their person. Quality time is a love language they will discover and it will annoy them on more than one occasion. What do you mean they can’t enjoy this song fully without MC?
They are a selfish person, and the people closest to them -such as their crew - will be the first to notice how selfless they become with and only with MC. Of course Roman has everything about everyone memorized, but MC is the only one they use it for good for - buying favorite foods, investing in a craft or hobby they love. Grey allowing someone else into their home and life? Some might call you crazy.
Another big change, how much less of a pain in the ass holding a decent conversation with GR has become with MC around.
I see touch starved Grey vs affectionate mc and I am yes and-ing. I raise you touch starved grey who is up late working on Plans vs affectionate mc who wants to cuddle to sleep and who isn’t above using pouting, whining, crocodile tears, draping themself over grey like a despairing victorian lady, or any other underhanded method to get grey to go to bed for their rightfully deserved bedtime cuddles
Oh no, too bad they hate bringing any work or research into their room. Might have to be an early night in... what a shame.

now i can't help but imagine an MC who can't help but try and encourage a better lifestyle and diet for Grey and the crew. "You're eating that for your daily meals!?! there's no nutrients!!! you're going to be sick! Let me make you all a nice stew." "Hey, KEEP HYDRATED! And no soda and juice is not a good replacement for water." "Nope go back to sleep pal, you stayed up all night and you won't be able to work well under these conditions."
The crew pretends to hate it, meanwhile Grey is basking in the attention.
