This morning, I came across this account of a lady who wanted to hide one thing from internet tracking. That thing was her pregnancy.

She was inspired by an earlier article about Target knowing a woman was pregnant before she did. And sending her the appropriate spam.

Go and read the article. It's almost horrific how deeply the corporate claws go into what has become a mainstream method of communication. It's actually cheaper and less bother to let them spam you.

Which is the way they like it.

But that's not enough.

They're pushing for the passage of TPP and SOPA and all other sleazy deals like it, which will increase the corporate control of everything we see/hear/purchase/use, and reduce our individual ability to say/print/grow/make/use what we like.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I find this pretty darn disturbing.
