So for years, at least since 2007, I have been curious about doing a photo project.  I always hear photographers online state that this type of project has really improved their photography skills.  Not just the ability to take a nice picture but improvements on composing shots, post processing, and learning new techniques like off camera flash.  So to make myself a better photographer (something there seems to be a wealth of now with better digital cameras) I will be embarking on this year long journey.  I mean it beats other options like “visit the gym daily”.   

The Ground Rules I Set For Myself

1. Any Camera:

DSLR, Point and Shoot, or iPhone although I am going to discourage myself from using the latter to avoid “fast food photography”

2. Interpret the topic as literally as you like or don’t do it at all:

I kind of just pulled these out of midair and they are meant to inspire incase you have a block… it sure beats taking a picture of the floor. 

3. Post daily before 10am the following day:

And Post Process.  I will be tagging all content on Flickr and Tumblr as SINH365 with the titles formatted as 1.365, 2.365, etc.  

4. Picture MUST be taken that day
