Ik i did an incorrect quote but i wanna start trying to write stories as well so here ya go!
______
* being the youngest Sinclair has its perks, you get away with a lot of shit with your brothers but it also meant you weren't much of a priority to your parents.
* growing up you and Lester were left to your own devices since Bo and Vincent had most of your parents attention. That didn't mean you both didn't get the backlash from the two. If you messed up you were still shown the same punishments the others did.
* Your probably closer to Vincent since you both enjoy the arts but you that doesn't mean you don't love the others.
* Bo is harder to understand but you two do have your little moments.
*you:"hey look at the rock"
*Bo: *not even looking*"I dare you to bust a window"
*you: "..Bo thats a terrible idea"
*You: ".....which window"
*You do have a lot of your mothers looks, much to your dismay. but your glad the other trait you carried was her ability to cook otherwise the boys would have roadkill stew every night.
*Vincent knows how to cook some meals but he's down in the basement a lot so he's not always available to cook.
*You were the one to find Jonsey and talk Bo into keeping her, He secretly adores the dog.
* When is comes to visitors, your only a smiling face pretending to work in one of the shops so no questions are asked.
*the Brothers all agree you are not allowed to be the one killing unless absolutely necessary.
*You don't sleep until everyone is in the house
*you probably have each one of the siblings footsteps memorized
* Bo is always the last inside, you hear the beer bottle lid pop off and know he's on the couch. If he doesn't fall asleep there he'll holler a 'goodnight shitheads' and shut his door.
*Vincent always knocks and sign's a goodnight before leaving.
*if Lester stays at the house he'll barge in spelling like roadkill and hug you tightly as you try to scramble away then leave with a goodnight. If he's at his own home ( i assume he as a cabin or something near by) he'll text a "goodnight lil sis :) "
* your favorite moments are when you get to watch a movie all together or when its in the colder seasons so no one shows up and you get to decorate the town in festive decorations.
Hello everyone, this is my first headcanons about slashers. Itâs been a while I wanted to write something for them and Iâm currently obsessed with House of Wax, so of course it had to been the Sinclair brothers for my first try. Iâve already written the part II of the headcanons (for the adulthood) so it should be online soon.
I canât thank enough my British girl who read proof me, a little Frenchie <3
Hope youâll enjoy !
Warnings : strong language once or twice; abusive family.
Part I your childhood:
You were an accident; Trudy and Victor had already a lot to do with the twins, and didnât have time for Lester, so they knew it was going to be difficult to take care of you too.
But abortion wasnât an option in the Bible Belt, so they kept you, no matter how worried they were to have to deal with another freak or worst, with one of their boys hurting you.Â
The boys werenât super happy with the idea of having another sibling; Vincent wanted to keep his mother all to himself, Bo didnât want to hear some stupid baby crying, and Lester knew he was going to be left alone even more than he already was.
But the 3 year old twins and 1 year old Lester fell in love with you right away.Â
You were so small and so adorable. Your eyes were so bright. Vincent wanted to keep you close all the time. Bo didnât want to hurt you so he didnât dare to touch you, but he always was keeping an eye on the person who was with you, just in case something happened. And Lester was already finding ways to play with you. You were a little ray of sunshine in the household.
As you grew up, Trudy had a love / hate relationship with you. She was glad you were here to keep the boys happy, but at the same time she didnât find it in her to fully love you. Maybe because all her attention was already on Vincent.Â
Victor liked to show you his experiments or to bring you as he went to take care of some patients. You learnt quickly to take care of others. But you could tell Victor was just happy you werenât a difficult child and he used you to keep Boâs âtantrumâ at bay.
The boys hated it when you werenât around. Your right place was by their side and nowhere else.Â
Trudy and Victor were totally punishing them by keeping you away from them when they wanted to make a point.
No one ever dared making you cry or hurting you at school.Â
It happened only once, and the consequences were three very angry boys beating another kid to almost death. They already had no limit in their will to protect you.Â
At the time, it scared you a little, but it mostly made you feel loved and safe.
The twins were quickly growing jealous if they felt you werenât showing them as much attention as another brother. Vincent would be whiny and clingy with you then, Bo would be distant and a bit cold. Lester would feel hurt if he saw you spending more time with the twins, but at the same time, he would be so grateful for every little piece of affection you could give him.
When you had a nightmare, you always went to Bo because he made you feel the safest and he loved to hear it, because it was proof he wasnât just the monster his parents thought he was.Â
When you were tired or in need of comfort, you went to Vincent and nuzzled into his sides. He would happily let down what he was doing to cuddle with you. Trudy wasnât too happy when you were distracting him from a wax sculpture, but it was a fight she never won.Â
When you were bored, you always went on adventures with Lester. Your parents and siblings were quite concerned when you both disappeared but they couldnât do much about it; you had too much chaotic energy together.
You never brought any boys or girls home.Â
You knew it wouldnât be a nice dinner with your father who has the reputation to be a crazy scientist and your brothers who would be judging and threatening your partner.Â
Bo would be rude and insulting. Vincent would stare and plan something bad. Lester would try to be happy for you, but he wanted your affection to be his and wouldnât speak with the person you would present them to.
But you had as much character as any of them.Â
You werenât impressed by your brothers and even though you loved to be their favourite and to be protected and taken care of, they knew they had limits they had to be careful with.Â
They also knew you disliked very much to not be obeyed. You could be even more authoritative than Bo; probably because the boys were wrapped around your little finger.
You were soft, gentle and tender with them, but they were scared of your wrath. You werenât often getting angry, but when you did, they knew they fucked up and they had to do something quick about it.
The worst argument was when it was you and Bo yelling at each other because you never let him talk to you like shit. Not even Trudy or Victor tried to do anything about it.Â
You would both stop when you would be tired and you would go in opposite ways.Â
But you wouldnât be able to go to sleep at night, because you both hated to be mad at one another. At some point, Bo would slip inside your room and settle in your bed. He would bring you to his chest and nuzzle into your hair. He didnât know how to apologise so he would silently cuddle you, hoping you werenât going to push him away or his heart would break. You never did.
Vincent and Lester would be much smarter than Bo, and whenever they could tell they were saying or doing something that was annoying or upsetting you, they would stop right away.
Because of the toxic family you grew up in, you never learnt how to say âI love youâ.Â
You showed you did with attention and a caring nature though.Â
You always took care of Boâs wounds and you would help with fixing cars as you got older. You are actually a good mechanic now too.Â
You would always make Vincent feel normal. You would gently coax him into removing the mask Trudy put on his face, with small kisses and sweet nothings murmured into his ear. He took the habit to remove the mask when it was just the two of you.Â
And you would always praise and spend time with just Lester. You would find anything he is doing great and you would have a big smile on your face as you listened to him babble. It was your way of saying you loved them.
The rare times you said you loved them with words, they all felt quite emotional (you can read oneshots about it for Bo, Vincent and Lester). They fucking adored you and would burn the whole world for you.
You grew up quite artistic yourself with poetry and painting. When you wanted a real critic, you went to your parents, because the boys were way too biased to say anything bad about what you did.
Overall, it wasnât such a bad childhood.Â
Of course, you got traumas from all the anger issues Bo had, the way everyone treated Vincent as a freak, the way Lester was unloved, the way your father was mad, the way your mother was unhappy and got sick, the way you received love only from your brothers.Â
You had your own problems, but you pushed them away to focus on the people you loved.Â
You knew you could have known worse; you perfectly remembered how one of your friends got beaten to death by her father.Â
The boys made sure nothing like that could happen to you.

warnings: su!cide mention, guns and blood. read at own rick
I remember being caste aside with Lester, momma always fussing over Bo and Vincent , more Vincent than his twin. We would barely get her attention so my brothers would care for me.
Daddy was busy drinking away his sadness in the old dirty recliner, arguing with momma as days seemed to drag on. I'd hid in my room most days, trying not to make much noise of fear of the out-lash.
As time past, momma grew sicker. "sickness that can't be treated" Bo said one day. I watched in fear as daddy tied her to the table, her screams echoing the town.
Lester would take me into the woods when it would happen, no matter how late it was, my smaller hand in his own as he would point at random tracks and tell me what animal had been through.
When daddy started drinking me, he'd get meaner. Bo and Vincent were 17 at the time. I remember it like it was yesterday. the sounds, smells, the expressions..
"Goddamn it woman!" daddy screamed, Bo head shot up from his place on the couch, my eyes looking up at the stairs. I whined quietly, tugging onto his hand while his eyes never strained from the stairs leading to daddy's work shop.
It was silent, the sound of struggling and metal being tipped over, causing me to cling to Bo's frame. Bo finally glanced at me, ushering me up out of the floor and to the closet I often hid in.
He hushed me, just as Vincent stepped into the room, his head tilting to one side. "Keep em calm, I'm gonna see what's going on" Bo said, walking past Vincent. I sniffled and looked up at Vincent, the wax mask keeping me from seeing what was going to happen.
Vincent did his best to comfort me but I still struggled with his sign language. I was only 11 or 12, barley given any education. I heard more shouting, this time Bo's screaming mixed with Daddies.
Then it happened. The sound of his shotgun going off as Bo yelled more. The sound of stopping boots came from the stairs, Vincent shoving me deeper into the closet and shutting the doors.
I sniffled and peeked between the blinds, struggling to see what was happening. Daddy was pacing the room, blood was coating his cheek and hands. Bo's face also had patches of blood, his lip busted and cheek bruised.
I heard Vincent's whimpers as he tried to speak but to no avail. "what have you done!!" Bo screamed, Daddy didn't speak only holding the gun tighter. "You don't know what it's like to love a woman who aint their anymore!" He spoke. "your both the devil in a boys body. and that women long gone" He growled.
I watched as daddy put the gun to his chin and looked up at the sky. taking a breath. Bo and Vincent tried to stop him but he had already pulled the trigger, his brain hanging from the ceiling and his blood spraying me through the gaps of the closet door.
I couldn't speak, my ears ringing as i felt the dripping of the splash slide down my face.
I remember the fuzzy image of Bo and Vincent pulling me out of the closet just as Lester stepped in.
They started arguing and before I knew it I was sobbing on the ground, my cries echoing the house and causing the boys to stop.
Foster care took us away few days later. Bo ended up fighting one of the workers as I cried in the back seat, I didn't want to leave my brothers behind. they were all I had.
I didn't see or hear from my brothers for years. I went through many families but no one wanted a kid who was disturbed. That was until finally i saw them.
Bo had grown taller, Vincents hair had grown long, and Lester, he still had that goofy grin but missing a tooth or two. The took me out of the system and back home.
Lester ended up adopting a stray name Jonsey. She was a sweetie, she stayed with me when the boys were gone. Bo started killing people around the town and Vincent displayed them. I should have been mortified but I wasn't.
I was home while my head was above the cloud in a place that was better than where we lived.
ooo would you consider writing more sinclairâs with a sister stuff? like perhaps their sister is on their period and the brothers try to comfort/take care of them?
(i couldnât find any rules for requesting so iâm super sorry if this request goes against any of them!)
of course! i really need to make rules and stuff lol. Your my first ever ask so I hope I did well!!
Sinclair brothers helping their sister while on their period:
Lets be honest here, your brothers have absolutely no clue what their doing nor do they understand pads and tampons.
if you have your period after your mother went crazy and your dad killed himself, the brothers will do their best to comfort you and help you understand what to do and why its happening, your all learning together I suppose
If you need pads/tampons you'll most likely have to ask Lester because Bo refuses to buys them but if you catch him on a good day he'll do it but he'll complain the whole time.
if you have bad cramps, Vincent will attempt to help get you a heating pad or something to eat to help. He's probably the one who tucks you into bed after you've finally fallen asleep.
Lester will bring Jonsey for you to lay with while everyone is working and your alone, she's the best heater in the state of Louisiana!
As much as the brothers try understand your period and such, Bo hates the attitude and prissiness that comes with it. He may love you and all but he is not above being an asshole back.
Vincent is the negotiator between you and Bo, especially when you break down crying just from the emotional toll is take on you because everyone knows Bo is not the best at comforting people or knowing where the line stands.
When theirs visitors are around and your on your period, you seem to have more of a blood lust and less patience when it comes to them, especially after they insult Lester or make fun of Vincents Wax figures.
Bo may seem like he's an asshole to people who aren't his family but he genuinely cares for your well being and sometimes Vincent will catch him sitting with you while you complain about cramps and watching a movie together.
The brothers love you dearly and do everything in their power to help you through your period, even if they don't fully understand the emotional and physical toll his has on you
Y/n, talking to Bo on the phone: Did you preheat the oven like I told you to?

Bo: *turns around, the shirt they're wearing says 'Bo Told You So' on the back*
