“Abakristayo Abasoka okubatizibwa e Natete.” Approx. trans: “Pioneer baptized Anglican converts at Natete”. Who knew they’d be mangled and BBQ’d later on? It’s said that during Ssekabaka Kalema’s reign, almost all Christian royals were put to death, many people in Buganda got done in even on whims, a special concoction of #Islam and #Buganda traditionalism swept the hills, guys got whacked, entire villages, siblings, … as intimate and ideologically intoxicated as the horrors akin the #RwandanGenocide, almost a century later.
