Enjoy the rich and decadent taste of this chocolate tart that doesn't need to be baked. It's a fancy dessert that's surprisingly easy to make. The cookie crust is made with butter, and the chocolate filling is velvety smooth.
Ingredients: 200g chocolate cookies. 100g unsalted butter, melted. 300g dark chocolate, chopped. 300ml heavy cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. Fresh berries, for garnish optional.
Instructions: Pulse the chocolate cookies in a food processor until they are very small. Put the cookie crumbs in a bowl and add the melted butter. Mix the ingredients together well. Use your hands to press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan to make the crust. Put it in the fridge to set while you make the filling. Put the heavy cream in a saucepan and heat it until it just starts to simmer. Put the dark chocolate chips in a bowl that can handle heat. After you pour the hot cream on top of the chocolate, wait two to three minutes. As you add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to the chocolate mix, stir it until it is smooth and shiny. With a spatula, smooth the top of the chocolate filling after you pour it into the crust that you just made. Put the tart in the fridge for at least four hours, or until it gets firm. If you want, you can decorate it with fresh berries after it's set before serving.
