#simple multifilament

Quick and cheap, not as nice as a handmade lace. Typically is in floral patterns. 

Used for windows “window casement”. Typically sturdier than lace and more “casement” style

Not very stretchy (does depend). Pile is made by introducing SLIVER (thick, hardly twisted, rope-like yarn). Pile gets locked into the loops as it is being knitted. 

Like a terry knit, but cut. It is a pile. Stretches well. Think Juicy Couture track suits.

Thicker, stiffer, more body to it. 2 sets of needles used, so there appears to be 2 sets together. Not as stretchy, but reversible. 

Pulling at the top makes it run ~ Identifyer

All warp yarns are in the figure 8. Typically used for mosquito netting or potato sacks/bags.

Softer than velveteen and has a higher pile. Extra yarn put in with the warp section. Roll test! Which way rolls the best?
