THANK YOU 🔆ANON FOR THE FUEL
-Simon’s first opinion on Sebek was.. complicated. The world he came back from had no magic (similar to earth), so needless to say his reaction was ‘what do you mean fae are real and also you’re a knight in training?’ Also, Simon was low key scared of Sebek. Not Malleus, just Sebek. They took a lot of time to get closer to each other (Simon had to get noise canceling headphones before they finally got somewhere). But now they’re really close surprisingly! Their dynamic is ‘Excited Rambling + Happily Listening’
-For friends, he hangs out with the first years a lot. Also, he’s surprisingly close to Azul of all people? They’re both in the board game club, but Simon takes words as literal (making him good for wording on contracts) and has a VERY high attention to detail. He has caught mistakes on spreadsheets that no one else has. Azul pays him in thaumarks and hot chocolate (because he doesn’t officially work at the lounge, he just gets called in from time to time for his skill sets.)
-For such a quiet guy, Simon has CHOICE WORDS for his brother about the prejudice. The first complete conversation that Simon ever had with him was:
Simon: “I’m sorry, why does *fantasy racism* actually exist? I thought that was just a d&d thing…”
Sebek: “Wh- how dare you-!”
Simon, cutting him off: “Sebek your input is as useful as a paper mache bomb shelter right now, please shut your mouth.”
Sebek has not mentioned it in front of him since. It may be for the best considering the words Simon does say may not be as… pleasant as his demeanor lets on.
-His favorite flavor is peanut butter! Chocolate is a close second.
100% Lilia heard that insult going off and he just fell to the ground laughing.
Also just having Sebek as your brother means you have someone with no volume control as your sibling....
