I finally got a new rabbit yesterday my last one died over a year a go but with a kitchen extension planned i couldnāt have one till the kitchen extension was finished.
When i first saw him i instantly loved him,I got him from a man my mum knows who breeds rabbits for rabbit shows,he was redeemed āunshowableā as a doe had bitten part of his ear,so heād have to watch the rabbits around him winning awardsš¢.I felt a sudden connection to him as i was bullied by girls at school and left school without any qualifications so i felt his pain.I was offered the choice of him or 2 female baby bunnies ready in 5 weeks time.But had my heart set on him,heās a 1 years old dutch rabbit born march last year.I wanted to call him either david (after tennant) or simon (after reeve) i put both names in a name decider and it chose simon.Simon well have a better life with me as for the first year of his life heād have been in a small hutch permanentlyš¢.He now has a hutch 3/4 size bigger with an upstairs and a full patio to run on yesterday was Simonās first life experience of being outside a hutch,he loves being outside and exploring he was running around doing happy bunny flips for hoursš„°.
