Simiel:

“4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?”

Simiel has a great relationship with his folks! His mother and father are very loving, to eachother and to their son, and have been very involved in his life, which isn’t out of the ordinary since iestheli raise their children communally which means everyone gets to be parents and not stressed out with being a sole provider for their children.

Most all of Simiel’s time with his parents is great, he spent a lot of time with his dad doing carpentry work and renovating his branch of the house and has pleasant evenings he spent working textiles and the gardens with his mom. The only bad memories he has are of the times he disappointed them when he was an aggressive child, and he’s thankful for how they handled it.

“39. Do they like letters? Or prefer emails/messaging?”

Simiel barely knows how to dial a phone, computers are wayyy out of his league. He had to study for a while on how to find listings of people looking for roommates when he went to travel to the city.

Between written and digital mail, he prefers written, but if given the option he’ll go with a phone call or better yet a conversation in person before anything else.

Izzy:

“34. What is their body type? How tall are they? Do they like their body?”

hmmm tough question. cuz i’m not even sure how i feel about money other than it’s stressful and most of my issues with it stem from the treatment of necessities as luxuries.

simiel is close, where he’s overall really concerned about the social climate around requiring wealth to give someone life saving treatment. but he also had the benefit of growing up in an environment where money itself was a luxury thing he was able to accumulate a lot of, since necessities were provided. so his concern is mostly secondhand.

izzy is also close, being pretty against handling cash herself for complicated reasons. but, izzy was also raised to see necessities as luxuries. big home bills scare and frustrate her and she feels like it’s her fault for not being better off like other people are.

ginta probably dabs.

simiel absolutely dabs. the big bro that he is.

izzy: kinda expects criticism with everything she does but also then spurns herself into trying harder. for example, she assumes the worst of herself when she goes to take a math test and when it comes back and she did indeed get answers wrong she strangely then uses it as motivation to get study help and spend extra time working on it. but, even with all of that, she’ll think her next test will be just as bad, cuz she always feels like she’s a few steps behind.

chris: tries to be cool, is internally self destructing. he’ll make an attempt to do better, but doesn’t really think he can. and even if he does do better, he’ll hold on to those criticisms as something like evidence to pull back up on himself for future failures. even innocent stumbles in conversation leave him anxious. if a piece of his were to be critiqued for his technique in art class, he’d think of it for hours sat at his desk at home, staring at a sheet of paper he’s now afraid to touch.
