As an adult, she carried that pressure into everything she touched.

Her apartment became spotless because clutter made her feel like she was losing control.

Her workouts became routines she could perfect.

Her relationships became impossible standards no one—including herself—could ever live up to.

Eventually, the constant pressure caught up with her.

After burning out in a demanding corporate job, she packed everything she owned into a tiny hatchback and moved to Newcrest with no plan beyond one promise:

“This time, I’m building a life that feels good—not one that just looks successful.”

She bought a cozy little home, got hired at Sandy Run Gym as the lead Pilates instructor, and slowly became the person everyone in town seemed to rely on. Whether it was hosting sunrise yoga in the park or organizing community wellness days. She became the calm in everyone else’s storm.

Ironically…

She still struggles to find that same peace herself.

When classes end and the studio empties, the silence can be deafening. She often wonders if she’s genuinely healed or simply become very good at appearing balanced.

She’s learning that inner peace isn’t a destination—it’s something you practice every day, just like Pilates.
