i have fallen prey to all hail king julien. i love how utterly insane that show is and how well it meshes with my disturbed mind. ironically since my life has fallen apart it has been one of the few things keeping me relatively sane and now i’m obsessed. there are few things i’d claim expertise in but ahkj lore has become one of them. which probably isn’t something to brag about but ill take what i can get.
Well, on the other hand, the fact that the lemurs speak English prior to the zoo animals’ arrival to Madagascar isn’t 100% far-fetched, since it’s the modern era and they might’ve had contact with English-speaking outsiders before. Still, for them to speak Malagasy would make more sense.
I have no honest opinion on it, but i would agree! Them speaking Malagsy makes more sense then English! But ofcours everyone else has different opinions! I bet that under themselves, they speak Malagasy, and with others who don't understand them, English! Like you said, it makes more sense that they speak Malagasy ofcours ^^

It’d be cool if they dubbed AHKJ into Malagasy, the Austronesian language that the lemurs should be speaking prior to contact with non-indigenous outsiders.
Yes definitely! It would be so awesome to see how they would sound like, and it would fit the story line so much if they made a Austronesian dub of the show. It's sad that they took it off of Netflix and never did it
A little cute detail of my UKJ version of my ahkj au, is that he wears all the bracelets King Julien did for him, when he was a kid. UKJ never took them off even when he tried to kill his nephew.
