The Glass Bank
Back in it’s heyday, before the “Big One”, the Glass Bank was considered a Jewel in the Architectural Crown of old Oasis Springs. It’s modern glass, steel, and concrete facade was in stark contrast to the surrounding buildings at the time of it’s construction in the early 60′s. When the Bank of Motherlode leased the place locals took to calling it the “Glass Bank”.
Over the years some structural anomalies were discovered, and the Bank of Motherlode didn’t renew their lease. Eventually the building fell into disrepair and became abandoned. It remained that way for decades even after the “Big One”.
Recently however, the Glass Bank has gotten some new owners. A team of SimCorp Scientists and their goons have set up shop in the old ruin, and turned the place into a virtual fortress. Nobody really knows what they’re up to, or why they’re here. Security is just way to tight for anyone to get a good look-see. Normally that kind of secrecy doesn’t bode well for the community.
John Paul mentioned that a few of the local Ghouls have gone missing since SimCorp took up residence, and Eli Ralston said some of his prize Cowplants have gone missing as well. I seriously doubt that is a coincidence. Gonna have to keep a close eye on the place.
Editors Note: This morning I watched the following video while I had my coffee, and as soon as I finished it I knew I had to have The Glass Bank in my Radiation Springs project. Naturally, I put my own personal spin on it.
