Sim man!!!
After 4 hours of being the "professional partner" for medic students running a PEA arrest and doing CPR on this guy, my hands are HURTING, and I am going to invent CPR gloves or something. There's gotta be a market for that. He looks pretty good for an 80yo with COPD! There's gotta be a market for more representative manikins, instead of perfectly fit young men.

so today i had women's health orientation and community health orientation as well as lab
in lab we each got sterile catheter kits to keep
so excited!
i just love supplies
 i wish we had the dummies too. but they were so stiff like most of the catheters wouldn't even go in
also we have a brand new sim man who does just about EVERYTHING
his pupils even react directly and consensually
finally i can hear all the diff lung and heart sounds
he talks and the professors can talk through him
it was cool
then in women's health orientation i found out that we will be seeing a lot of high risk stuff
que interesante!
spring semester is about to be muy interesante!
