Ever since the invasion of New York, Bruce had been fascinated with Jane Foster’s work on Einstein Rosen Bridges. The idea of traveling between the realms was exciting and for a scientist like Bruce Banner, he figured they needed some sort of way to contact Thor should they need him again. He might not be able to see their world was in peril, no matter how strong he was.
So the good doctor went to work on some sort of anti-gravity transportation device. There was a catch, however. Well, a few catches. First off, the only being who could travel within his manmade portal was himself, due to the fact Bruce decided to use concentrated gamma radiation to connect the two planetary systems. And second, makers keepers. He created the machine and even Tony backed him up on that point. Â Bruce should be the one to go first, even though he was frightened of it. Catch number three was that he had no way to get back home, except for the tools he was bringing with him. He had to hope he could build a machine back to Midgard, the term for Earth the Asgards used.
After a brief goodbye to Tony, he activated the portal and was sucked into something that felt like the worst carnival ride of his life. Only then did he stumble into Odin’s throne room. A mortal, in a King’s room. Nevertheless, he was shouted at with disdain. There was an explanation, and even Thor came to his defense. But he was a mortal nevertheless. It was Thor who brought Bruce to his own quarters,  where he could change out of his normal clothes into something more Asgardian. – a silver and lavender tunic. He honestly thought he looked ridiculous, but in reality.. Bruce was quite beautiful.
A brief conversation told him where Loki was, and Bruce went to see the rotten, evil little thing himself. He had his theories though. He thought the stone in that staff played and violated the mind. He thought it forced you to do things you had no control over. Sort of like the Hulk. As he was guided down the dark stairway, he looked around at the .. things in sealed rooms. And then there he was. Here was Loki, the invader of New York, shut behind some sort of forcefield for all eternity. Bruce didn’t like that. Not at all. He was being caged, and that send back horrific memories.
“ This is wrong. This is cruel. “ Not even a content look that he was locked up and sealed tight. No, Bruce felt bad for him.
