#goodmorning! This #staircase is almost #framed up and ready for @wolfhomeproducts #silverteak #decking. We also will frame up for our skirting support which will go in before the #stair treads. Notice the #concrete footings under the middle span of the staircase and we also have the base of the stairs locked down with three footings attached to the bottom 2x8 which is ripped to 6 1/2” wide. No #dirt or #grass were harmed during this installation. I’m really digging the #structure of the staircase with a 2x8 face to each jack, it stiffens everything up immensely and keeps everything in its place while we work on and around it. Lastly, a healthy application of @g_tapes will help keep the moisture out of the freshly cut and treated jacks for longevity sake. #drdecks #yourprescriptionforquality

#quicktip: Want those rows of different length #deck boards to line up perfectly? You better listen up #Son. Lay your planks equally and adjust your gaps accordingly for each section or else your 16’s won’t line up with your 20’s. Then you’ll be nearing your 50’s and say: what just happened??? #lol. Notice those orange spacers? Those are a different thickness then the yellow ones. Each length of decking is extruded on a different machine so there are micro width differences between lengths of decking. It also helps if you install each section from the same unit of decking whenever possible. This plank is @wolfhomeproducts #silverteak. Here’s another #aerial shot of the #framing on our current #laketapps project. It is one of the most #complex and elongated set of stairs I’ve ever built. Each stair level will change to a different decking direction. @inlitedesign #hyve22 #led lights will #pepper this stair set and we extended the #waterproof bladder up into the covered porch area to minimize water infiltration under the #deck providing a dry storage space for lake toys, gas cans, life vests, #lochnessmonsters and whatever else will fit. There’s going to be an @easyoutdoorkitchens on the left so we flared out the bottom step into a platform deck to accommodate the #outdoorkitchen and to provide space to create those amazing meals with a #bitchin’ @firemagicgrills coming to anchor the space. The deck will have matching stone columns and matching vertical @wolfhomeproducts #silverteak #serenity decking installed in between the columns. All neatly fastened with the @fastenmasterpro #cortex hidden plugging system. Hopefully this clears up a few hundred questions. Sorry if i haven’t returned your DM’s.
