Leeds Creek Kiln is 25ft high and 20ft in diameter. This Kiln was built in 1885 and was used to burn pinyon & scrub oak for coal. The coal was then hauled down to the smelter and kept at a consistent temperature for removing the silver from the limestone. . I forget there are amazing places in my backyard. .
