Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: ....oh boy, Garble's back, I'm so happy. ...ok, in all fairness, it IS great to see his more vulnerable side struggling with peer pressure... and that he's a creative type -that's actually a pretty cool touch coupled with how supportive Smolder is as a sister. I was kinda worried Spike was gonna end up snapping and turning into the bad guy, but no. He kept trying to be the bigger dragon, and I really appreciate that considering he and Garble's history. Speaking of history, it's really nice to see how Fluttershy's grown since "Dragonshy" - from being deathly afraid to them to smacking them with shade EVEN WITHOUT her friends getting hurt -and OOF, she knows how to smack bullies DOWN!!! I think the one thing I didn't really care for was the ending.... I feel like it was too abrupt - yeah, Garble reveals that he's a poet and he gains respect for it because he saved the eggs.... but what about him and Spike? Part of the conflict revolved around the two of them, and we don't really see them fully making amends. I mean, I can respect if it was IMPLIED.... but sometimes we need a clear answer, you know?
