Hi! it's my first time here so I'll go by my online name- Eras :)
You see- I've never adopted nor took care of a cookie, cuz they're not very common in the area I live, so I need your advice in something
Some days ago, at night, something small crashed against my window, when I opened it, I saw a tired Silverbell cookie. I quickly took him in and laid him down on a small pillow, he managed to look at me before he fainted.
Right now he's fine, just woke up (tho I'm worried that he slept that much, is that bad?). His wings are somewhat twisted (due to him crashing), and he told me that they hurt every time he moves or tries to walk.
He seems sad that he cannot fly (thought he tries to hide it), I know how much faeries love to fly.
I was wondering how to make my room more cookie friendly, and what can I do to help his wings heal; I would take him to a cookie specialist, but the nearest cookie center is 4 hours away from here.
And also, where I live the weather is usually hot, does that affect him? And if it does, what can I do to make him feel more comfortable and safe?
Sorry if these are a lot of questions, It's my first time taking care of a cookie, thanks for your helpβ€
For now, you can try setting up little pathways in your room and on shelves! That way, if he gets stuck, he'll have an easy way to get back down without hurting himself!
For help with his wings, some melted silver can do some good. Even if it doesn't fully repair his wings, it can still greatly ease the pain until you are able to see a specialist!
The warm weather won't do any major effects on him, but if he does get too hot, set him right in front of a fan or AC! Or if you're outside, some simple shade should do.
