Grey Dreads on Young People
This look really fascinates me. I equate this with the retro/vintage style: You can't be vintage from head to toe without looking like grandma. But if you mix some vintage with some edgy, then you have a hot look. I think grey dreads on young people follows the same formula.
Now how do you get grey dreads? The easiest way would be to get synthetic hair woven in. But if you don't want to "cheat" then you'll have to lighten your hair the lightest you can and add a touch of color.
People who want white hair have to use a toner to take all residual color out. In this case, if you want grey-ish hair you can skip this part. That residual color, for some people, can look grey-ish. You can also add color on top of your lighten hair, like a light purple color, as seen in the picture above.
With a grey hair color I think this should be followed up with the right makeup, piercings, and an edgy loc style - that way the color won't age you. It's definitely a fashion-forward statement if pulled off right - I'm loving it though ^_^
