Kohga knows this well. Once, lifetimes—no, eons—ago, Kohga had borne witness to the might of the Calamity in its full glory, only for it to be quashed down by those chosen to contain it.

Then more recently, within the past century as it inevitably returned to wreck havoc upon the land and leave nothing in its wake. It had been so close, were it not for a pesky golden haired boy and girl who had nearly failed in their so called divinely ordained fate… a shame, really.

But here stands the man behind it all. A living relic of nascent history.

He’s as breathtaking as he is terrifying.

Kohga knows it all too well. What power lays behind those golden eyes, warm one second, cold the next.

It is strange to think that this lone figure contains apocalyptic promise. Humbling, even, that this man-shaped god is the very thing that has plagued Hyrule since time immemorial.

It is also easy to forget this when speaking to what appears to be any ordinary man. But then, nothing about Lord Ganon was ordinary. Still, forgive Kohga for the blunder.

Kohga gulps, shrinking beneath Ganondorf’s blazing gaze.

Oh dang, he’s mad mad, isn’t he ?

Kohga rummages around behind him and conjures something from thin air, holding a yellow object up before him like a placating offering.
