Silja was born in 1988 and raised by Hannah for several years before they traveled to 1911, but did they actually stay in Winden during that time? Was Hannah hanging around town at the same time as her teenage self?
The thing is, she probably could have gotten away with it because of the timing.
Katharina was killed right around the time Hannah left the ‘50s, so they wouldn’t have crossed paths in 1987. Ulrich was presumably in the psychiatric hospital for the rest of his life. And Egon died three months before, so he wouldn’t be there to recognize her either.
The only other person I can think of who would have existed in that time and recognized Hannah at that age was Mikkel, who might remember her as Jonas’ mom. But with Ines drugging him, it might not have made a difference even if he did see her.
We don’t know what name she went by, but if she kept calling herself Katharina Nielsen, there wouldn’t have been confusion, since young Katharina was called Albers then. Silja was apparently five years old when she and Hannah traveled back to find Jonas, which would make it 1993 -- one year before Katharina married Ulrich and changed her name.
