Today I got the chance to talk with David Anders at Comic Con Prague, mostly about his role as Blaine in iZombie.
He talked quite a lot and I’ll admit that because I struggle with understanding English in real-life conversations, I definitely didn’t catch 100% of everything. 😅 But it was still such a great experience!
Not only did the custom pop figure I had made for this event catch his attention, he even took a photo of it. 🤭
At the end I finally worked up the courage to ask him something that had been on my mind. I simply asked whether he liked the Blaine/Peyton storyline.
I know that ship was pretty controversial in the fandom, but I was always one of the few people who genuinely loved it, so I was really curious what he thought.
Well, now I know he did like that storyline too. And as he also mentioned during the panel, amnesia Blaine apparently had the biggest piece of David in him.
He said a bit more about it as well, but with my broken English I didn’t catch everything, so I’d rather not repeat it here in case I misunderstood. Still, I did get the feeling that he might have wished that storyline had ended differently too.
