NICHOLAS GALITZINE "Masters of the Universe" | 2026, dir. Travis Knight
Called to the cinema last night to watch this, it’s actually really great. I seen some reviews and got a bit disheartened but if you’re a MOTU fan I think you’ll be impressed and there’s a whole ton of social commentary there that seems to have gone right over the peoples heads who’ve written up on it. Definitely no accident they released it at the start of Pride Month, and even Jared Leto is surprisingly brilliant. 9/10.
Masters of the Universe (2026)
Since this had several things I absolutely love coming together - Nicholas Galitzine, humor, a vibe reminiscent of Thor: Ragnarok and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, plus a great soundtrack - I can't really give it anything less than a perfect score.
I had a fantastic time watching it, and Nicholas was simply amazing in this role. I’ll admit that when I first heard he’d been cast, my reaction was kind of: huh? Really? But after watching it, I have to say he was a great fit for Adam, and thanks to that, I now have a little crush on yet another one of his characters.
His occasional awkwardness and weirdness were absolutely charming. 😅 Exactly the kind of guy I’d want to date. Haha.
Oh, wow! Benched by Heartbreak with Dean and Allie is slowly but surely making its way to the top spot among my most successful fanfics and it’s doing it in less than two weeks (and I’ve been publishing fanfics since 2021) ...absolutely insane. 😱❤️
