The worst thing about TMA being such an old fandom (relative to others Iโm in) is that I always expect there to be more fanfiction than there actually is. Thereโs hardly any where my dear Gerry isnโt a secondary character. Where is it. I want gen fics where he solves mysteries. I want x reader fics. I want AUs where thereโs no fears or entities or anything and heโs just some guy. Where are my silly little stories. Chop chop tumblrinas get back to work. Iโm going on a very tiny, bite-sized break because I have officially spread myself too thin. I overestimated how much I could take on.๏ฟผ
basically, iโve got two Big Drawings i need to focus on: one art trade and one commission. and if youโve seen me around before, you know i draw swap sans for fun and for other people, and i genuinely love doing that. however!! i am currently burnt out.
between a ton of school testing, being pretty sick, and then the period combo attack, my brain and body are tired. iโm finally coming down from the sickness and my periodโs over, so i just want to give myself like two days to rest and draw without pressure.
iโm mostly posting this for the people who care, since iโm usually in everyoneโs comments like โIโLL DRAW YOUR SWAP VERSION!!โ which is still true!! i will get to it. justโฆ not at lightning speed right now.
for the moment iโm gonna stick to doodles and palette-cleanser drawings. low-effort, no-pressure stuff until drawing feels fun again instead of like a task list.
