I am Hussam Al-Qazzaz from Gaza, and I am writing to you at a very difficult time. The war that swept our region left us with no choice but to face the painful reality. My house was demolished, I lost my job, my children were separated, and we were living in tents under harsh conditions.
Our health situation is in danger. My mother suffers from high blood pressure, and her health condition is deteriorating. My father suffered serious burns and is now in intensive care, which increases our anxiety and pain. We have four children, Bashar, Hani, Diana, and Habiba, and my last daughter was born during this war just one month ago.
