OVO WHAT'S THIS
Siddur Davar įø¤adash is an attempt to imagine one form that a de-gendered, de-stigmatized, Diasporist liturgy might take. All the prayers are fully transliterated and translated with all-new translations, all of which are released into the public domain to use and edit without restriction
And now!!! You can get your very own hard copy! Wow!!!
(And if you'd like to read some more personal thoughts about this project and what's ahead, I just put out a little newsletter with that very information! Neat!)
I had completely forgotten about this š«Ø
no, i want to get a physical siddur but i don't know what website is best?
Ohhhh. You want to know the best website to buy a siddur?? That was not clear so my apologies. Iām realizing now my confusion over you saying āto be a siddurā probably was meant to be āto buy a siddurā? This makes so much more sense now.
Definitely refer to my previous answer re: narrowing down the *type* of siddur you want.
MyJewishLearning would be a good starting point:
https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/how-to-choose-a-siddur/
Choosing a Siddur. Jewish Prayer Book. Jewish Liturgical Texts. Jewish Prayerbooks. Jewish Texts.
Then Iād go onto any of the judaica websites. Google ājudaica siddurā and there will be so many options.
Iāll leave this in the jumblr tag too for anyone with specific input. Iāve always been blessed enough to visit a judaica store for any of my texts so Iām interested to hear which one of the online stores people prefer.
Gut Shabbos! Logging off for the night! xx
