I've had to keep this birthday project under wraps for quite a while so as to not ruin the surprise, but I finally finished it up last week so now it can all go public 😄. My dude is a bit of a deadhead. These are the set lists of the 4 shows he attended before Jerry Garcia died (I think..). Each one is done entirely by hand. The Sickels lettering at the top is colirocolors black pearl watercolor with black and white accents. The adapted Grateful Dead imagery is actually a design he made with his face for a t-shirt a few years ago, I just added the roses to balance it for this context and include some additional Dead iconography. They're done in watercolor and sumi ink. The banners have the show locations and dates in roundhand on colirocolors pale gold. The lettering is my Italic script in rainbow watercolor and the paper is cansons watercolor xl. 🌈❤️💛💚💙💜💀
