One of the unexpected results of my Shipwrecked deep-dive is that seeing the Persauds work together has made me really miss collaborating with my brother. From 2009-2019 we were almost constantly working together: in our band, live scoring local theater, touring, backing each other up at our solo shows. But since the pandemic started, a combination of chronic illness and difficulty being creative when the world is on fire has meant we've barely worked together at all.
I knew I missed it, but this really drove home how much.
I just hope Sean and Sinead really appreciate each other 💜
