cw: disordered eating is implied, nothing graphic. just general anxiety around food. lots of comfort. also small sh mention, just one piece of dialogue.
summary: you have anxiety, and you go to your brothers for comfort.
an: hiiii this is like.. incredibly personal and probably niche. i have emetophobia and arfid so this is usually how my anxiety shows itself. let me know if you like this! i've been writing self-indulgent stuff lately so.. just wanna be sure you guys are down for this. okay mwah
my stomach hurts. i'm hungry. i don't want to eat. i get up to get help.
i feel dizzy as i go down the stairs. i keep walking until i hear dean's voice. "hey, you okay?"
i don't feel like talking right now. at all. i shake my head and mumble "anxious." i find my way to the couch and sit next to my oldest brother. i curl up into his side. i wish i could stay here forever.
he rubs up and down my arm. "how come?" he knows me well. he knows talking about it helps.
but, i still don't want to talk. i think he can tell, but i need to communicate what's going on.
"my stomach hurts n' i forgot to eat. now i'm nervous." i take a deep breath to calm my nerves. "i was gonna cut." dean hugs me into his side more.
"i can have sam get your water bottle and a snack. how's that sound?" i hear sam walk across the room. (i truthfully didn't even know he was here; i can't think clearly right now.) i nod. they both know exactly what i need at that moment.
i can feel the tears form in my eyes. it's been almost three years. why do i still flip out over something as small as a stomach ache? i am so fucking tired. i wish i could turn off my brain for a while and stay here with dean.
dean is like, a mind reader, (or he heard me sniffle, not sure which) and he knew i was about to cry.
"'m so tired." my voice is raspy. dean kisses my forehead. "i know baby, i know." he sighs and continues rubbing my arm. "me and sammy got you. we always will." he rests his chin atop my head.
and i'm a crybaby because that makes me cry more. i love them so much.
sam is also very quiet. i didn't hear him come downstairs, but when i took my head out of dean's chest, i see my safe food and my water bottle on the coffee table. dean presses my favorite stuffed animal into my arms. (his name is theodore) i take theodore and put my nose to his head. i love how he smells.
"wanna watch pokemon?" dean says this so quietly, like i'm a sleeping baby.
"yes please."
"we got you baby." sam says. he sits on my other side. i feel so safe.
eventually, i eat my snack and drink some water. i took my night time medicine, and i am 100% prepared to fall asleep right here. anxiety is so tiring.
i don't know if sam is awake, or dean, but i mutter a "thank you." to both of them. i'm not the best at showing my appreciation; they know that. but they also know i love them more than anything.

Setting: During mid to end Season 3 (Dean has his contract set for Hell)
Word Count: 1709
Warnings: There’s a removal of surgical stitches and Sam getting all flirty with the doctor, but nothing too serious 😊
Request: “1 with sibling!winchester reader? ok so what im thinking (which you can totally say no to) is that the reader and her brothers (sam and dean) are in a new town fighting a new threat and this threat gets to the reader which lands her in the hospital. her brothers are going insane waiting in the hospital or like a week until one day they’re watching over her and she wakes up?” - @aliciasayshi
A/N: Still in your state of fear at the hospital, you’re rushing to leave, all the while Sam has a little crush on your resident doctor discharging you
Part One: Broken to Whole
There was a knock at the door and one of the doctors came walking in and both the boys immediately took (Y/N)‘s hands to keep her calm. They had developed their own little protocol.
“Miss. Winchester? I’m Dr. Tanner. I’m here to give you your final checkup, remove your stitches, and then you’ll be free to go.” It was a nice young woman with her brunette hair up in a ponytail. She had a wheeling tray trailing behind her covered in surgical tools.
Sam looked towards (Y/N) for a split second and turned back to the doctor, “Of course. The faster we can get out of here the better."
The doctor came in and started putting on gloves, "Understandable."
(Y/N)’s breathing hitched, and she squeezed her brother’s hands. The doctor seemed to notice, and she took care in handling her instruments.
"Alright. I’m going to use these tweezers,” she held up the instrument. "To undo each knot. And then with these scissors I’m going to cut each loop and then slide them out. It’s an extremely simple procedure and is rarely painful. But you may feel some pressure, okay?“
The boys appreciated the doctor taking her time to present all her tools and explain the steps calmly, it definitely put (Y/N)'s nerves down.
"Yeah, that sounds fine. Just…” she closed her eyes. “Just talk about something different to distract me."
Dr. Tanner smiled and got to work, gently lifting her gown and covering any exposed skin with the blanket, so only the surgical stitches were showing. The metal instruments clinked from the tray and (Y/N) took a sharp breath. The brothers intently stared at what the doctor was doing, and she gave them a swift look.
"Are you all family? Or…"
"We’re her brothers,” Dean said. “We’re not going anywhere."
Her smiled widened, "That’s not what I was implying. Just wondering. You two seem like the protective type."
Sam sneaked his own smile and gave her an up and down look, "We gotta be there for each other.” He waited a few seconds before, “Why don’t you tell us about yourself, doctor?”
She gave him a gaze and switched her hands for the tweezers and a metal dish, “That’s hardly appropriate, Mr. Winchester."
Sam moved piercing eyes from (Y/N)’s strained face to the doctor’s hands and Dr. Tanner gave a small sigh, but a smile, "Well, my name’s Brooke. I just started my residency to become a surgeon. I graduated from high school early, so I’m one of the youngest students to be graduated from medical school."
"How old are you?"
She picked up a piece of paper towel and hummed, "I’m twenty-three."
He whistled, "And you had to get a Bachelors and then a Medical Degree… so you had to have graduated high school when you were at least fifteen?"
Tanner nodded, smirking, "Yep. Most people don’t believe me when I say that. But… I like to learn."
Sam smiled wider and continued to gaze at her, "I believe you. ”
Dean moved his head from one person to another with mild disgust on his face, and (Y/N) had her eyes still closed tight so he couldn’t get her involved.
“Alright,” Tanner said. “That wasn’t so bad was it? The wound looks right on its way to heal completely. I’m going to put on some surgical tape, which you can remove in about five days. However your abdomen is going to be very sore for a few weeks and you shouldn’t be doing anything that could exhort you to the point that you reopen your wound.”
(Y/N) finally reopened her eyes, “Did you take all the stitches out? Are they in the bowel?” Tanner attempted to lift them up to show her and she stuttered, “No, no, no. Take it away, I believe you."
Dean gave a sarcastic smile, "We’ll make sure she doesn’t do anything too reckless, right Sammy?" Sam still hadn’t taken his eyes off Dr. Tanner and he merely nodded to Dean’s remark, who added, "Thanks, doc. Are we good to go?”
Tanner took off her gloves and went to wash her hands in the in-room sink, “Well, the tape is secure, so yes. As long as she feels up to leaving…"
"God, yes I am,” (Y/N) said letting go of Sam’s hand and putting it on her face.
In response, Sam got up and ran a hand through his hair, “Yeah, um… yeah - thank you, Brooke. I mean, Dr. Tanner.” He stretched out his hand.
Tanner gave a small laugh and went out to take his hand, “It was a pleasure. Just make sure she doesn’t do any heavy lifting."
Sam gave a confused look for a split second before recognition hit him, "Oh, oh yeah… (Y/N). She’ll be fine."
(Y/N) finally realized what was going on and she turned dramatically from Sam to Dean, who gave her one of the most strained and annoyed expressions she had ever seen. He still had her hand and started to help her sit up and turn to the side of the bed. It was a slow process with a few squeaks and gasps, but she survived to the standing position.
"Uh, Sammy? A little help here?” Dean asked, interrupting Sam’s staring contest with the back of Tanner’s head.
He snapped out of it and went over to the other side of the bed, grabbing (Y/N)’s clothes from the side table and putting an arm around her. They moved her over to the bathroom and in her struggle to get through the door and handle her own clothing, Tanner made an interjection.
“Do you need any assistance?"
"No,” Dean began. “She’s fine…"
Sam took a step forward, "That would be great."
Tanner made a move for the door and Dean didn’t make any effort to get out of the way. She went around him and touched (Y/N)’s shoulder, "Let’s get you out of here."
She was quiet and put a hand to her abdomen, giving in, "Please."
Once the door closed, Dean smacked Sam across the chest, "What the hell, dude?"
Sam put a hand to where he was hit, "What was that for?”
“You’re freaking flirting with the doc while (Y/N) is still having the hardest time staying afloat in this hospital!”
“Well, I’m sorry if I get caught up looking at a beautiful, intelligent girl that will have a normal conversation with me… it’s not like you haven’t ever done that."
Dean scoffed and put his hands on his hips, "But this is (Y/N), Sam. And you’re ignoring her."
"It’s not like she hasn’t ignored us before. Take it easy, Dean."
The bathroom door opened and (Y/N) came out wearing her ripped jeans and side-zipped maroon leather jacket, with a brand-new black t-shirt for underneath.
"Let’s get out of here, boys."
Tanner led her out until Dean dove in and took over, "Come on, (Y/N/N). You hungry?”
She gave him pleading eyes from her semi-hunched position, “Burgers… please?”
Dr. Tanner ran out of the room and returned shortly with a wheelchair that (Y/N) hesitated to get in, but pain was not her friend. Dean pushed everyone out of the way and wheeled her from the room.
Sam gave Tanner a side look and rubbed his fingers together before quickly leaving.
Halfway down the hall, when Sam finally caught up, Dean held a frown and a determined step to the front door.
“Dean, hey, hold up. What are you doing?"
They continued their walk and (Y/N) was taking deep breaths, rolling her eyes at their child-like behavior. When they got by the doors to leave, she reached up and grabbed Sam by his shirt, pulling him to her level.
"When’s your date?”
He stuttered, “What do you mean?"
She pulled him closer, "After you just flirted with her through my traumatizing experience…"
"You had stitches removed, (Y/N/N),” he smirked.
Her eyes widened, “My traumatizing experience… you better not tell me you just walked away from her. There’s no way you’re going to ignore my suffering for a girl and then just leave her like it didn’t matter."
Sam looked at a loss for words and finally stood up straight, turning his head. Tanner was at a nurse’s station talking to what appeared to be another doctor.
(Y/N) let her hand fall to her side and she leaned her head back, "She told me, while I was getting dressed. Well, she asked about you.” She shook her head, “Just go take her on a date."
Sam took a step backward and then toward the front doors before whispering, "Thanks, sis.” And then went back to the nurse’s station.
“Why are you encouraging him?” Dean asked, squatting down to her.
She looked at him in the eyes, “She has a friend, Dean. The other doctor that did my surgery… she’s been asking about you too. But Brooke says she’s a shy little thing. Don’t do anything stupid."
Dean stood suddenly and looked back at the same station and squinted to try and see the other doctor by Sam and Tanner.
"Her name’s Elliana."
"She even sounds like a delicate flower,” he said.
(Y/N) tried to move the wheelchair, “Which is why I said not to do anything stupid. I know your time is running out, but don’t go out wasting other’s time."
Dean gave an offended smirk, "Excuse me miss my life is a sad horror filled mystery and I refuse to talk to anyone about it."
She laughed, "Just wanted to make you feel better that Sam’s not the only one attracting the hot doctors. Now let’s go get food. It’ll signal Sam to hurry up with his geeky date proposal."
Dean gave one last look at the doctors before lifting an eyebrow and shrugging his shoulders. He grabbed the handles of her wheelchair and pushed her out the doors, "I hate that you’re starting to know us so well."
She started to laugh, but then gasped and clutched her abdomen.
Request: @patrickshowtimekane ASKED:
Hey, do you think you could do a crossover of supernatural and teen wolf imagine where Sam & Dean Winchester are your brothers but you're in a hidden relationship with Scott but they find out when Castiel tells them and they threaten Scott?... sorry is the request is really long!

Meeting Scott was one of my best memories. I had been the new kid at Beacon Hills, and I figured I wouldn’t stay that long. At that time, it was only a wendigo case. I didn’t want to make any attachments, but I guess that didn’t happen.
I flipped through the packet the lady at the desk gave me. It supposedly had everything I needed, but I couldn’t even find my first-period class.
I sighed and looked up through the crowd of people, trying to find someone who could help. The only people who seemed friendly enough were the two boys standing about three lockers to the left of me. One was pale with deep brown hair and whiskey eyes. He was making random hand movements as he tried to explain something to the other. He also had dark brown hair, but darker skin, darker eyes, and a crooked jawline. He seemed friendly, like he was one of those people who was always smiling.
I walked up with a small smile. The tanner one looked up almost immediately while the other didn’t notice for a minute.
“And while we’re on the topic of her, why don’t I-“ The paler one cut off when he noticed me standing there awkwardly. “Oh, um, hi,” he muttered, cheeks flaming red.
“Uh, hi. I’m new and I was wondering if you could tell me where Mr. Yukimura’s room is?” I questioned, fiddling with the loose strings of my bag.
“Sure, just take a right down that hallway, then a left, and it should be the third on the left.” He spoke with a wary smile. I gave a beaming smile and muttered a ‘thank you’ before walking down the hall, almost immediately being flanked by a strawberry blonde asking where I got my boots and saying she could help with my ‘flannel issue’.
The last thing I heard before getting out of hearing range was, “dude, she had mountain ash in one of the jars on her necklace.”
My brothers and I have been staying in Beacon Hills for a while now. The increase in supernatural creatures keeping them here. It has been about four months- the longest amount of time I had spent in a specific place- and I loved it. I was in school, and I had some of the best friends I’ve even been with.
I also had a boyfriend. A werewolf boyfriend. Do you see the problem here?
Coincidentally, I’m sneaking out to meet him right now. I made sure my necklace was around my neck, the important charms attached before I opened the window and crawled out. I landed on the ground and checked through the window. Sam was researching some creature while Dean was watching Doctor Sexy. I smiled before running down the street to meet Scott. He stood by his bike with a dorky smile on his face and his arms open. I let out a laugh before jumping into his arms, his immediately encircling me.
“Hey babe,” I spoke, planting a kiss on his cheek. I stepped back and smiled up at him. “What’re we doing tonight?”
“I was thinking,” he hummed out, ducking down to kiss my nose. “Movie night. Mom’s working all night. Stiles is with Lydia.”
We were smiling at each other when we heard the familiar fluttering of wings. I let out a gasp and turned around, meeting the confused gaze of the angel. “Cas,” I squeaked. “What are you doing here?”
“I was sent to check on you as your door was locked. Sam had wanted to say goodnight. I am confused. Why are you with this boy,” he questioned, tilting his head.
“I needed some homework,” I spoke fast, making up a random excuse on the spot.
“You have already done your work of home. Why would you need more?”
“Listen, Cas, can you do me a favor,” I asked, pleadingly. “Go home and tell Sam and Dean that I am asleep and you don’t want them to disturb me. I’ll be home in a few hours, I promise.”
“Why would I lie to them,” he asked.
“Because I asked.”
That night had gone by fine, and Castiel had done as asked, but when he brought it up at dinner one night? Let’s just say, it didn’t end very well.
“Okay,” Dean said, stuffing a hamburger in his mouth. We were seated at a diner not far from the hotel. It had an older theme and everyone seemed very nice. The red booths and white counters worked nicely. “Anything new, Sammy.”
“Well, four calls to the police station last night about ‘a naked wolf boy running through the streets.’ The sheriff seems to be making sure all the weird reports are not reviewed thoroughly.” Sam spoke, flipping through his notes on his computer while taking bites of his salad. “Sounds like a new werewolf to me.”
I hummed in acknowledgment, knowing exactly who it was. Scott had to bite Liam at the hospital one night, to save his life, of course.
“Why don’t you just ask y/n’s boyfriend what happened,” questioned a voice to my right. My breath caught in my throat as I looked to Castiel. I hadn’t even noticed he had joined us.
Both boys looked over to me, frowns settling on their faces. “y/n’s what?” Dean yelled, attracting people’s attention.
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it,” I stated, smacking my hand over his mouth.
“I don’t understand. Why would you not want them to know? Is it because he’s a werewolf?”
“Cas,” I screamed!
“What?!” Dean yelled, standing up from his seat.
“Dean, calm down. It’s okay. Let’s talk about this.” I spoke, trying to get him to sit. Sam was fuming but refused to speak. Cas looked utterly confused as to what he did wrong. Dean sat, his eye twitching.
“Explain.”
“Okay, so I may have a boyfriend, and I may have not told you about it, but he’s a good guy. He’s not like the ones we hunt. He’s nice and sweet, and I really, really like him. So, I don’t care what you say. I’m not breaking up with him.” I spoke, crossing my arms and leaning back with a small smile on my face at the thought of him. Sam’s eyebrows raised, looking slightly pleased, while Dean looked annoyed.
“Fine,” Sam spoke. “But we have to meet him.”
I fixed Scott’s jacket with a small smile. “You’ll do fine. Just be yourself.” He smiled down at me, kissing my lips softly before stepping back. He looked terrified, but nodded.
I stepped back and grabbed his hand, walking over to the door of the same diner from before. It seemed to be the only one in the small town. Sam and Dean immediately stood up at the sight of me. Dean inspected him from head to toe before looking at Sam, shrugging.
I patted Scott on the shoulder before letting go. He let out a deep breath and stood tall. “Um, hello. I’m Scott.” He spoke, sticking his hand out for them to shake.
Dean nodded again before taking his hand and shaking it with a strong grip. “Dean. This is Sam.” He motioned over his shoulder to the taller brother. “Come here,” Dean spoke, pulling an arm around his shoulder and walking out.
I looked over to Sam with a questioning look. “What was that,” I asked.
“Threatening,” he smiled. “Want to order,” he asked, sitting down in the booth.
“Sure,” I said, sitting across from him. I watched Dean and Scott from the corner of my eye. They were standing beside baby, Dean poking him in the chest while spitting words out. Scott was trying to stay calm, meeting my stare for a second before turning back to Dean.
I looked back to the table to see a menu placed in front of me, Sam smirking. “So, you really like him?”
“Yeah,” I smiled brightly, scanning the menu. As soon as I finished, Scott and Dean walked into the diner. Scott slid into the seat next to me and grabbed my hand tight. My eyebrow rose as I looked over at him. He just smiled tightly.
“I wonder if they have any pie here,” Dean questioned, looking up to meet my stare with a smile and a wink. I knew that from anywhere, the code engrained in my mind. He approved.
Scott took my happy state as a sign to relax.
And if Dean ended up actually liking Scott, well no one had to know.
summary: you have a nightmare, dean comforts you! gn reader, fully platonic
an: short one 2day !! mwah enjoy (again; feedback is greatly appreciated!)
dean was never good at sleeping, or staying asleep, especially since he went to hell.
to fix this issue, he just avoided sleeping as much as possible. (his siblings hated this, they want him to get rest) he stayed occupied until he physically couldn't stay awake anymore.
he's looking at instagram reels on his phone to pass the time. he looks to the corner of his screen. 4:32am. "goddamn." he is exhausted. this is one of those moments where he wishes he could sleep like a normal person. just once.
mid-spiral, he hears steps coming towards his room. then his door opening. low and behold, it's his youngest sibling, y/n. they're 21, but they still look like a kid once in a while. especially now. they have a big t-shirt (dean's or sam's, all their clothes are mixed up at this point.) and they're holding their favorite stuffed animal by the arm.
"hey. you okay baby?" his voice is so soft around y/n. they come in and stand beside the bed, silently asking if they can sleep with dean.
"mmm" they hum. "had a ni'mare" dean notices their puffy eyes.
"come here." he moves over to make room for them. they come in and quite literally buries their face in his shirt.
"scary" they mumble. dean plays with their hair. "i'm sorry. did you want to talk about it? or did you just want a distraction?"
"dis'raction please." their voice is so small. dean wants to hold them and protect them from everything bad in the world. he hugs them tighter.
"okay. here, i was just watching pokemon. remember this?" dean feels them turn their head to the tv and nod in his chest.
"you're okay. you're safe." he continues rubbing their back, resting his chin on the top of their head.
"love you" y/n says under their breath, as if they're telling dean a secret.
- summary: younger gn!reader meets a pretty girl, dean and sam are protective!
also: this is my first fic. i have no clue how to do this. feedback is appreciated!
dean and sam go to the bar every friday. i don't know, tradition? but i stay back. i'm not a drinker honestly. i would much rather stay at the bunker curled up with a good book. that’s definitely my kind of night.
my brothers practically begged me to go to the bar with them. they need a ‘good luck charm’ for their pool game, or whatever they call it. so i went. they don't listen to the word ‘no’.
i’m knee deep. knee deep in a new book i'm reading. exactly 237 pages in. dean and sam are playing pool, shouting whenever possible. they are definitely drunk. mid sentence, i feel a hand on my shoulder.
"hi."
oh my god.. she's so.. she has black curly hair and deep brown eyes.
"hi." i mutter. taking her in. (how do you calmly greet a hot girl?)
"i'm charlotte" she looks at me so intensely. like we could for sure kiss right now.
"i'm y/n." i smile, trying my best to flirt. "come, sit" i point to the seat across from me.
"what are you reading?" she asks.
and i love her already. "oh! um.. its a book about a teenage alcoholic, not my usual genre but i love this auth-" dean comes up next to my chair.
he wraps an arm around me. "hey kid! who is this?" he asks, raising his eyebrows.
I give him a pleading look that says, ‘please dont embarrass me’.
"dean, this is charlotte. charlotte, this is dean. one of my brothers"
"hi!" she says so sweetly may i add. i look at her for a split second, mouthing ‘im sorry’ and giving her an apologetic smile. she waves me off like it's nothing and my oldest brother isn't about to humiliate the fuck out of me.
"ah, charlotte. so what are your intentions with our y/n?" charlotte, thankfully, laughs at this.
"dude shut up" i lightly slap his arm. "go back to pool, i think sam is moving the balls around!" that gets him.
"oh shit. ok well, y/n stays right here. don't take them anywhere i can't see them" he bumps my shoulder and winks at me. i (half) playfully roll my eyes.
he finally walks away. i give charlotte a desperate look. "oh my god. i am so sorry. him and sam, my other brother, they're insanely protective when it comes to me. especially when it comes to me and girls."
she laughs. "don't be sorry! it's really sweet how they care. have you had bad experiences in the past or..?"
"not really. they kinda get all parental when i'm sad. they've seen me heartbroken three times now, so i think they're trying to avoid another one of those meltdowns."
she looks apologetic. "heartbreak is the worst."
"cheers to that" i say. holding up my.. water. but, she laughed, so i'd say thats a win.
right when i look up. i see sam.
"hey kiddooooo" he draws out. oh god. he's for sure drunk.
"just needed- just wan- to see what you're reading!" he's doing his best to pretend to be interested in my book, but i know better, he just wants to be sure my choice of woman is acceptable. looks at charlotte then looks at me. this goes on three more times. he mouths 'good taste' and gives me a thumbs up. i roll my eyes. "okay you can go now! thanks for checking in, i'm fine sam."
he walks away. he also winks. jesus christ get me out of here.
"that's sam, i assume?" charlotte takes me out of my head for a second.
"uh.. yeah. again-"
"do not apologize. please. it's really adorable." so she's already picked up on my need to apologize for anything and everything. wow.
"okay." i look down, blushing. she breathes and i feel like i'm having a stroke. how is she so perfect?
"give me your phone." she says.
so of course, i hand her my phone. she says, "i'm putting in my number and following myself on instagram. that okay?"
i wanna kiss her so bad right now. just realized im staring at her lips. "i.. yes. that's perfectly okay."
she hands me back my phone. "i'll be sure to text you." she gets off the chair and comes extremely close to me. holy sh-
i'm staring at her lips again. she definitely realizes that by now. i just nod, speechless at this point. (how does she do that to me?)
she tucks my hair behind my ear and cups my face to kiss me. i kiss her back. obviously.
so yeah, i just died!
she pulls away after a minute or two.
"see you y/n." she smirks. SMIRKS.
"bye charlotte." i say. (i've never been so red)
i turn back to my book, taking a breath. what just happened?
i was going to continue reading (not really, just think about charlotte) when i hear dean and sam whistling at me. i put my finger to my mouth, because, why are they so loud. they come back to give me a high five. i gladly accept their gesture this time.
"can't believe our little sibling got to makeout with a girl in a bar. their first time being in one. and they brought a fucking book." sam looks at dean with wide eyes. i can't say i don't agree, i didn't bring a book here to kiss a girl. but if that's what works, i'll take it.
"proud of you kid. no dates until i properly meet her. and that doesn't include you guys sucking each others' faces two feet away from us." dean says. i get off my chair and start to walk out with both of them. i'm starting to like bars.

cw: depression. that's it. that is the entire story. nothing graphic, just lots of comfort.
summary: you wake up having a bad mental health day, sam and dean are there to take care of you
an: wowww okay long time no see! i love a good hurt/comfort. as you guys know. things have been so busy lately, but in the new year things will die down and i'll be able to write more. ty for sticking w me :) u guys interacting makes me entire day ily
waking up, i feel like i'm being crushed by a thousand bricks. i can't get up. i sigh. i have accepted it's one of my bad days ™ . i close my eyes immediately in hopes of going back to sleep.
truthfully, i'm not tired. i'm wide awake. i bury myself in my comforter more. bring my stuffed animal to my face so i can feel their fur against my lips. i wish i could skip today.
i don't know what time it is, but after a while i hear a knock on my door. it's sam. (i know because he knocks lighter than dean. dean also barges in most of the time) i want to answer, but nothing comes out.
"hey, you up?" i hear my door creak open.
sam and dean have seen many bad days ™ , so they know how they start. sometimes, they can catch one coming before even i can.
i just stare at the window. the closed window. i wonder if its sunny out. i assume sam sees my eyes open, because he keeps talking to me.
"hey." his voice softens. i feel the other side of my bed drop. "bad day?"
i can feel the tears start to form in my eyes. i nod, hoping he understands that talking isn't what i want to do at the moment.
"okay, that's okay." i can feel his worrying eyes on me. he looks like a sad puppy when he's worried. "do you need anything right now?"
i shake my head. i don't know anything right now. sam sighs. "okay. i'll go make you breakfast." he kisses my head.
breakfast is never a question on bad days. eating in general isn't a question. even if i have no appetite, dean and sam make sure i eat at least one meal and i drink a lot of water. some days these rules make me upset, but i know it's the right thing to do.
i go to grab my phone. my body hurts. where the fuck- oh. okay. it was underneath me. i check the time. 12:56pm. have i mentioned i hate waking up late? i am a morning person through and through. i feel so lazy when i wake up in the afternoon.
i sigh and turn off my phone in frustration. she's going back into the depths of my bed.
i hear a small knock. it's sam.
"hey." i hear him shuffle over to my side of the bed. he has to bend his knees a bit to get to my height. "made your favorite." i look at my plate with a small smile. they really are so sweet to me. tears form in my eyes (again) but before i can start crying, sam speaks up. "dean is making your coffee. a big one today. that cool?"
i look up at him. he still looks so concerned. i nod. i keep the smile on my face. i need him to relax. he grabs my remote.
he loads up the office. he doesn't need to ask, they know my comfort shows by heart. once it's on, he turns to me.
"okay. food, water, coffee is coming, and the office. anything else i can do?" i start to open my mouth but he cuts me off. "oh! medicine. i'll get that." he does a little power walk out of my room.
time is still blurry, but it felt like seconds until dean came with my coffee.
"i have your coffeeeee." he drags the last word out and shakes my coffee like i'm a dog and the coffee is my toy. incredibly accurate. he sits infront of where i'm sitting. "okay, how did i do?" he shoves the coffee into my hand. i take a sip, and dramatically smack my lips.
"hmmm…" i (jokingly) ponder on his question. "it's a 10 out of 10. as per usual." now a real smile comes on my face.
"perfect! starbucks is missing out on me." then sam comes back.
"i have your meds." i look at him and say, "thank you, both of you."
they both get up and start to leave. "wait." i say quietly. they both turn around (very urgently, may i add.) "stay?" my voice is so small. i hate asking for things.
they know this, so they come back into bed with me. i lean against dean's side. coffee in my hand, my favorite show. bad days aren't so bad when i have my favorite people right next to me.
