He was a beautiful betta, with a grumpy attitude but a deep kindness. He never was aggressive, and deeply enjoyed it when I put my hands in the water to clean and maintain the tank as he would playful follow my fingers.

He was extremely curious and sweet.

I hope wherever you are, that you are being fed your favourite food, artemia. I hope you are in a planted tank, with your favourite lily plant. I hope you have your castle, your treasure chest and your pipe.

This is Kaida, which means little dragon (as he looks like a colourful version of the one from Shadows of the Colossus).

I needed to feature him as he has been through quite an ordeal yesterday.

His heater exploded because my area had a power cut and it must have overheated. His mummy (me) was renovating her bedroom and forgot to check his temp for a few hours afterwards (I didn’t know the heater had exploded as there was no noise) and his tank reached 20*c (68*F)😬😳

Thankfully someone was looking out for my little guy as I needed 5mins to myself after lifting a bed to a room and I went to watch him, and saw the heater and quickly cleaned it out, and drove to get a new one.
